Wasn't crazy about the first pick, but I love the 2nd pick.

Why the hell did we draft a cb in the second round? The O lineman from Oregon was still there if I'm not mistaken.

That shows me what the new staff thinks of Robert Alford.

I guess so! He is a liability but I hoped a pass rush would help him.

Nah, this is a great pick. It means we can keep Southward at FS rather than try to move him to cb. Collins lead all of college football with QB's only having a 70 QBR against him.

We just got arguably the best CB in all of college football at pick 42. Sure he didn't have a lot of interceptions, but no QB had a good game throwing his way.

We'll get an OL, ILB, or RB next pick.

Next pick needs to be Cann if he's available.

Not really,CB is not a pressing need but Quincy's MO is to load up on DB's.

With Cann off the board, where does Atlanta go now? Ajayi? Maybe the OT from Pittsburgh?

This was clearly a BPA pick. We didn't need a CB. If you look at the Falcons roster, Southward already did have CB next to his name. But apparently they had a 1st round grade on Jalen Collins like just about everyone else did, and as a result they just couldn't pass up on him.

They had the flexibility to do this because they could move Southward around. Either go FS and keep Southward at CB or go CB and move Southward back to FS

They also have this Brandon Bishop kid who can play CB or FS too. But getting Collins is a godsend. He might just be a shutdown corner. QB's only threw 70 QBR going his direction. That's the best in college football by nearly 10 QBR. I can totally understand why we couldn't pass that up.

Trufant and Collins on the outside, Alford at nickel, Moore and Southward at safety. Ishmael and Bishop as safety depth. Damn our secondary looks hot.

RB Tevin Coleman, OT TJ Clemmings, or ILB Paul Dawson for our 3rd pick.

Yeah, if Coleman still there for us in the third round, that's awesome. Freaking Big-12 RB with 2,000 yards rushing and runs a 4.39 40 at 5'11 210 lbs. That would be awesome.

Hopefully Coleman, Freeman and Smith form a nice rotation. I thought Ajayi would have been better because he would have brought the power that the other guys don't have, but hopefully this will work.
