My dream draft: 1.Alvin Dupree, LEO, Kentucky 2.Stephone Anthony, MLB, Clemson 3.Clive Walford, TE, Miami 4.David Johnson, RB, Northern Iowa 5.Xavier Cooper, DT, Washington State 6.Stefon Diggs, WR, Maryland 7.Shaq Mason, OG, Georgia Tech 7.Wayne Lyons, CB/S, Stanford

Errrrr, no early safety????

Again, we're not taking a TE after signing two of them in FA. Not to mention, Clive Walford is the best TE in this draft and he's going to be gone well before our pick in round 3.

And it's absurd that you don't have an LG replacement until round 7.

They're not happy with Alford on the outside, so they're talking about moving Southward to CB opposite of Trufant. If that's the case, who's our FS? Charles Godfrey?

So you expect our safeties to be the oft-injured William Moore, Kamal Ishmael, Charles Godfrey, and Wayne Lyons?

Here's my mock draft for the Falcons:

1-8. LEO - Vic Beasley, Clemson
2-42. LG - A.J. Cann, USCe
3-73. FS - Cody Prewitt, Ole Miss
4-107. RB - David Johnson, N. Iowa
5-146. DT - Grady Jerrett, Clemson
6-185. ILB - Ben Heeney, Kansas
7-225. WR - Dezmin Lewis, Central Arkansas
7-249. RB - Karlos Williams, Fla St.

If we get Beasley, Cann, Jarrett and Williams everything else would be gravy. Cann would be a starter the moment he steps on a practice field, and Jarrett could form a nice rotation with Hageman. Williams as a 7th rounder would be excellent value. He's uber talented but has some character questions and if it doesn't work, it's a seventh round pick that doesn't work so oh well.

Jerrett is actually a Bandon Mabane clone that would play the 1-technique next to Hageman.

If we had Beasley at LEO, Hageman next to him at the 3-tech, Jerrett next to him at the 1-tech, Goodman or Matthews next to him at RDE, and then Brooks Reed standing up in the SAM, that's essentially a cloned younger version of exactly what Quinn had on his front 5 in Seattle.

I think there's no question what so ever that one of the top-4 pass rushers will still be there at 8.

That is probably true. But Fowler and Beasley will be gone. So, the Falcons will select from Ray and Gregory. And that will be 3 pass rushers in the first 8 which breaks the 10 historical mark.

If it were me under that circumstance, I would opt for Dupree. He may not be as day 1 ready as Ray/Gregory, but in 3 years he very well could be the cream of all of the pass rushers crop.

I don't even consider Gregory one of the top-4 pass rushers. That dude is pure boom or bust with a high chance to bust. And with him failing his combine drug test, nobody is going to touch him until after Fowler, Beasley, Dupree, and Ray are gone. Especially not the Falcons.

You be the only one. However, I wouldn't touch him.

I would be very, very happy with Dupree.

Agreed. Drug test shows me he's just stupid. He knew he was getting tested at the Combine, yet he lit up anyways. Either he doesn't care or he's a retard. And if he didn't know, he's a retard. He also wasn't nearly as productive at Nebraska last year as someone with his talent should have been. He got run over by Wisconsin when Melvin Gordon ran for 420+ yards.

Hi, I was nearly dead on with my first 8 picks and got Beasley correct to Falcons.

I'm calling OT Jake Fisher as our next pick at #42.

6'6 306 out of Oregon. Has played LT, RT, and OG and his entire career has been in a zone-blocking scheme, which fits with Shannahan's new offense. He's also the fastest and most athletic OL in the draft, running. 5.01 40. He's a perfect fit for us.

I'll take the OSU receiver as my guess for round 2.

I like AJ Cann too. If you look back on page 1, that's who I picked originally for our 2nd rounder. But now that I realize AJ Cann has never played in a zone-blocking scheme, I'm leaning more towards Jake Fisher, who of course has played the ZB scheme his entire career at Oregon.

I don't think Fisher will be there. Tampa and Tennessee could both take him to protect the franchise QB. I like Cann and think he's a great run blocker. If Gregory is there, Quinn could be tempted to take a shot at the talent.

Fisher here or Cann can't complain about either.

Word coming out that Gregory bombed his aptitude test AND he's supposedly he's Bi-polar and had to disclose that he's on medications for it.

So I don't think he makes it past the Falcon filter. I doubt we pick him.
