If the information reported by Mark Schlabach is true, UGA fans should be demanding the firing of McGarity over Richt.
I've never been sold on Richt but, in the past, his offenses have combined good running and good passing. If there was an upgrade in the works I'd be all for it but it seems that McGarity is the guy who is hurting the program.

McGarity is doing the opposite. Or whatever you want to call it. Chuck and Chernoff were discussing today how Schultz has emailed McGarity twice now about Richt. This time Schultz said
1) Are you still sure Mark Richt can bring a championship to Georgia
2) If you choose to not respond it's safe to assume that you do not think he will
Something like that. It was a pretty meh email to send him in some regards but McGarity's response was just like it was at the highest point of anger for UGA fans. "We are on to the next game against Georgia Tech"
He didn't give him the dreaded vote of confidence and didn't answer it at all. Which in most cases is smart. C&C were discussing, though, how McGarity is kind of inconsistent in that years before when Schultz or others asked this he responded that he did indeed think Richt was capable of delivering a championship

Is Richt capable of delivering a championship? Seems unlikely but who knows?
