I'll admit I laughed out loud when Greyson threw that pick to open the game. It was like a coping mechanism; I couldn't help it.

I did too. Couldn't help myself. It was either laugh or throw a universal remote control.

I think you owe it to Georgia to throw the remote. Hopefully at something expensive or a family member. I'd say a pet but rig has that handled.

I've already broken multiple shot glasses watching Georgia football, including two after Matthews and JHC derped the 2013 Auburn game. A universal remote would be a step up financially from shot glasses. It'll happen one day, though. If we lose to ND in 2017, God help us all.

I mean ya gotta.

When I communicated that the family leaves the house when I watch the game, I was told that is not healthy behavior.

There is nothing healthy about being a UGA fan.

Pro tip: If you throw the remote at drywall, the remote might actually survive, and drywall patching is pretty cheap and easy.

There is no time like the present for Mark Richt to prove his doubters wrong....this is the kind of shite that makes legends come to life...beat UF, win out and win the SEC CG and ole Marky Mark will be getting coach of the year talk.

Of course it ain't gonna happen...I predict we come out flatter than the beer at a republican fund raiser and about as hot and the only thing that keeps it from looking as bad or worse than the Bama game is the Gator offense is nowhere near as good.

We won't have 200 yards of offense unless Richt and company do the coaching job of their careers in the next 2 weeks. Florida's defense is as good or better than Missouri's....and we are getting worse on the offensive side of the ball, even worse than losing Chubb would automatically mean.

Again though, no time like the present to prove your worth if you are Mark Richt...

We aren't that bad on paper

We are worse in reality than we are on paper. Lambert is as bad a QB as we have ever had at UGA and that is saying something considering some of the QB's we have had.

I don't know how we don't have the talent to match up with UF. Of course we recruit as good as anyone in the country but we don't have the same amount of talent as the rest of the conference (I don't know how y'all square that circle but many of you do). We can certainly beat UF....the problem is that we won't change a fricking thing in the 2 weeks we have to prepare...we will do exactly what we have done for 14 years and UF will not see anything that they haven't seen in that time.

And by the same things for 14 years I am not suggesting that we change schemes or install the spread over the next 2 weeks...I am talking about unmotivated and unprepared.....that kind of same ole shite...

No, that would be saying the two behind him are better...and they aren't.

I doubt many people took your posts seriously anyway, but this should really remove any notions that you should be listened to. I mean I don't even know where to begin responding to something this stupid.

Am I saying we'll win? Hell no, of course not. I'll reiterate for those that didn't see it earlier....we're not a good team. But this is a strange game and much stranger things in this rivalry have happened. We'll probably lose but winning wouldn't be the strangest thing ever.

Lets not give Florida more credit than they deserve.

This is my outlook as well. Their best win is over a middle of the pack West team who just got beat by Memphis. In their win over Ole Miss, they won the turnover battle 4-0. They gave up as many yards as they gained, gave up more first downs than they gained...they played too poorly the first 4 games of the year to suddenly think they are unbeatable.

We have also played terribly recently, granted. I think this all comes down to the offensive game plan. If Schotty doesn't show more this game, I will be seriously concerned about his playcalling going forward. He will have to get creative at some point, and if he doesn't do it in a play in game for the SEC championship, I don't think it will ever happen.

Note: I am already concerned about his playcalling. But he has a chance to fix it in this next game.

I really need someone to tell me how much I need to drink while at this game. Do I only drink enough to still be able to enjoy it all or do I drink enough so that I won't have to remember this shitshow come Sunday?

I've been going so long & watching us get our shite pushed in in every conceivable manner for so long the outcome of the game rarely upsets me. It's my last vacay of the year, 5 days of R&R at Ferdinand Beach/Amelia Island...

The game has slowly become a secondary attraction, just another excuse to eat, drink & have fun with old friends & new during a 5 day orgy of eating, drinking & fun with old friends & new. Same shite, it's just in a parking lot in Jax vs a seaside bar in FB...

Agree that odd things have happned over the years in this rivalry but we do not match up well against the UF D. UFs secondary is very good as is their defensive line. Shutting down our running game should not be a problem for UF and Lamebert will start completing passes to UF's secondary. I expect UF to score 14 or more on D against us. UF is good on O too AND who knows... maybe Grier will be back. I want a Dawg win as much as anyone but this one just aint happening.

UGA can beat UF, but imo these things need to happen:

1) No special teams miscues. Florida creates a lot of explosive plays that way. Contain Callaway in the return game.

2) Defense has to play solid and turn UF over at least twice. Gotta try to keep them in the teens.

3) Run the ball at least well enough to keep them honest.

4) Malcolm Mitchell has to play an absolutely massive game. He has to beat Hargreaves 1-on-1 consistently. It's been done before (most recently by LSU), and Mitchell is athletic enough to do it.

I'm saying their record doesn't quite tell the story.

They needed a miracle touchdown on 4th and 14 with a minute left to beat UT by one point. They beat UK by 5 points. East Carolina by a score.

And those were with Will Grier, who shattered expectations for them this year. Not Treon Harris.

I'm not saying they don't have a good football team. It just seems like a lot of posters here are building them up like they're a 2008 Tebow Florida team.

As I said before - if we have a solid gameplan and can execute 75% of it, it should be a good game.

I can get on board with that. I just hope we show up and compete.
