and you know, we probably will. We aren't good. I know we aren't good, in fact we're bordering on something that could be called sucking. BUT...this game is weird.

-in 1985 UF got their first #1 ranking in history the prior week and a UGA team that went 7-3-2 ended up beating the shite out of florida
-in 02 we had a top 3 team ever and lost to a shitty UF team
-in 06 UF won the national title and needed a fumble return for a TD to be the difference to beat a woeful UGA team by 7
-in '10 we took a shitty UGA team that finished with a losing record to face urban meyer and took it to overtime
-in '12 we beat an undefeated and #2 ranked UF team
-in '14 we had the much better team but got completely outclassed to a crappy florida team

Am I saying we'll win? Hell no, of course not. I'll reiterate for those that didn't see it earlier....we're not a good team. But this is a strange game and much stranger things in this rivalry have happened. We'll probably lose but winning wouldn't be the strangest thing ever.

We aren't that bad on paper, and we are capable of winning this game with the proper preparation and game plan, even without Nick Chubb. I have little faith this will happen, but its possible.

Anything can happen in Jacksonville.

All I'm saying is Texas somehow beat Oklahoma in the Red River Rivalry...

Stranger things have happened in College Football this season.

I base my analysis on the transitive property of congruence.

And OU just beat K State by 55, and K State will probably beat Texas next weekend. Anything can happen. If we play well, there's no doubt in my mind we can win this game.

I don't think much has changed since the off season. Florida is still the same team that needed a late touchdown to beat East Carolina. Sure, they crushed an Ole Miss team, but Ole Miss has a crap offensive line and can't run the ball. The game against Alabama was the biggest derp by Alabama in recent memory. LSU is a good team, but not a great team. Florida also struggled at Kentucky.

Lets not give Florida more credit than they deserve. Coaching is a big reason for their success. We have the talent to win, but will our game plan allow it?

I am confident Florida will win by a large margin.

I'm not even upset.

I'm sure you are.

There was a fat piece of shite sitting 3 rows behind me yesterday that I exchanged words with. He was cheering anytime we dropped a pass, didn't convert a 3rd down, or turned the ball over. Was that you by chance?

at first, when I was still composed, I simply asked what he was trying to accomplish. Then when it kept up I told him to shut the frick up and people around me clapped. Then when lambert threw the "interception" he came down and tapped my shoulder and asked how I liked it (seriously?) although it was overturned. At that point i was trembling and my neighbor calmed me down. After we stopped their last drive on my way out I said "bet you're pretty pissed huh you fat piece of shite" when I walked past him.

Why do you ask?

That is always the question, yes? It seems that unless we can "outtalent" the opposition, we often times struggle or get our arse handed to us.

While there is nothing I would like better than to beat the gators, at this point if we win I will be surprised.

And if they do beat us what an indictment that will be. To be entrenched for 15 years and to be beaten by a 1st year head coach (at Fla) who was brought in due to the poor state of the program will be truly shameful.

I'll be surprised if we win but it's not out of the realm of possibility. Lambert needs a nice easy gameplan. This game needs to be the game where the TE's are worked into the mix. Marshall needs more touches...I'd say maybe a 60/40 split for Sony and him would be a good mix. Douglas needs to hold a clipboard or something. Granted Mizzou's offense was even more woefully inept that our's but if the D plays the same way, I think it keeps us in the game barring any Lambert interceptions or fumbles. Treon isn't a great QB so if the D can get him rattled we could steal some points. It will hurt not having Sanders for the first half...but what can ya do there? The optimistic side of me says we sneak out of Jax with something along the lines of a 20-17 win but the pessimistic side says we lose by a touchdown or two. Just my two cents.

Yeah they sure are...gotta be a little paranoia in Florida's pocket. Might make them come out tense and on edge. Although we still have that shot at Atlanta, way more pressure on them.
