Ever thought of getting a separate board for ....

this Hunger Games stuff? Looks like fun and all, and Jefferson is killing it, but it is now dominating the Georgia Sports Board and has nothing to do with, y'know, Georgia Sports.
So I hate to be the one farting in church, but I'd bet Chicken might give the HGMF (
, etc.) it's own board if a bunch of people asked politely. And then, well, we could get this board back for, oh I don't know, GEORGIA FRICKIN' SPORTS! 
Anyway, just a thought - but a darn good one!

The HGMF looks awesome, truly it does.

What would be wrong with asking Chicken for a board dedicated solely to that? I mean, really?

Im with you man but, the board isn't going to support you. I have never participated and don't have any interest in participating but you just have to learn to dodge all the threads about it.

Oh right, chicken will just give is a new board if we ask nicely. Million dollar suggestion.
Here's the thing. When people start complaining about"irrelevant threads" the admins pay attention. And when they pay attention, threads go missing. Now, if a HGMF thread goes missing, a lot of people are going to be pissed...mostly at you. So my suggestion to you is to zip your lip and skip the posts you don't like to read.

I was happily doing that when it was just three or so threads. But after dinner it became 10-11 threads of HGMF and growing. So - since this is a GEORGIA SPORTS board, I'm kind of wondering why the HGMF doesn't get it's own board on here --- if that's possible.
If Chicken wouldn't go for it, then nevermind.

I was going to do just that. But now it looks like I will eventually have to dodge entire pages of it.
Just thought there might be another way to go about it.

In all honesty, this will only last for a couple of days because of the draft.
Once it dies down, there won't be but 1 or 2 threads on the games during the week.

Once the picking actually begins.. its usually just a couple threads a week.. this was draft week... so of course its going to be full on... take a deep breath and let the Games consume you

Ah. Outstanding. I was starting to get a bit nonplussed when it started growing exponentially today.
If it dies back down to something relatively small, then carry on my wayward sons.
