Hutson Mason. He had to step up with Gurley having to sit and he has. From the short, accurate, consistent passing game he showed against Missouri to the Arkansas game plan which showed pass first, making Arkansas respect our passing attack before we unleashed the Chubbeast.

The progression of Hutson Mason may just get us to Atlanta ... and beyond.

Looking a lot better. Bobo is also doing a better job IMO of keeping Georgia as a run first offense. Everything is off of it or to supplement it. Too many games Georgia tried too hard for balance. That isn't what this team is built to do. Hutson threw 17 passes yesterday and I enjoyed that.

Yea it really feels like he took ownership of the team starting with the Mizzou game. Looks a lot more comfortable for the most part and is making better throws. That will be huge going forward, especially once we get Michel and hopefully Gurley back.

Quietly, bobo is once again showing he is a top coordinator. We have not scored less than 34 in any game with a "noodle-armed" qb. Despite having a clown's name, he is no joke.

Getting harder and harder (actually impossible) to criticize him as a coordinator. Now we just have to pick our spots (like 1st and goal at the 4).

Remind me of the 2009 GT game. Best offensive game they ever played and Cox only threw it 14 times.

bobo had 2 good weeks. I will not call him blowbo again until he steps on his dick like the 1st down call at the Carolina 4 - No, I haven't forgotten.

Early in the year it seemed UGA lacked an identity. Obviously they knew the run game was their staple but they wanted to be a hurry up, primarily gun team that focused more on running a spread look. It's moved into more 2 TE sets, FB sets, and increased dependence on the run. Less series of all shotgun, cute shite and more of a "we're gonna run until you stop it" mentality which is exactly what Georgia needs. Would like to see more incorporation of the PA pass and for it to not be so telegraphed.

And the god damn pistol.

On the defensive side moving Langley back to DB was another apparent stroke of genius... freeing up Swann to play the "star". Salute to CJP & Langley, Mauger, Bowman, Davis, Sanders, etc... for the strides they've made since Aug. 30th....

fixed it for you. For all the shite he gets, if people would look at the injuries, etc. we've had over the years at WR and RB, the numbers our offense continuously puts up are ridiculous. And yea, the random brain farts are frustrating as hell but they occur less and less frequently and are more than offset by the other 99% of the plays

This is the only reason I think that we should've kept our foot on the throttle in the 2nd half. I get the reasoning to go conservative because winning was the goal....but Mason was on a roll and I'd have like to see continue to build his confidence and air it out.

The best and most underrated aspect of Bobo is his ability to coach QBs. He is a terrific QB coach; the guy milked 24 TD passes from Joe Cox. Bobo knows Mason's strengths and weaknesses and his play calling shows it. He adapts extremely well to the players he has at his disposal.

People are confusing one or two busted plays with being a bad coordinator. I mean, look at Florida. They would KILL to have the offensive production we have.
