Was Smart chewing Eason out after he dove on that fumble?

Delayed CB blitz from the blindside is not his faul

Taking 5 seconds to decide what to do with the ball while standing in the pocket like a statue was his fault.

It looked like it to me.....at least having a one way conversation about it.

After Eason fumbled he was definitely giving him a wall to wall briefing.....

And shortly thereafter you could see Eason is done. The camera caught him sitting on the bench and the look was undeniable....can't wait until this shite is over so I can drag up....

To me, it looks like Eason has checked out. He doesn't even seemed enthused when he even gets the opportunity. Its like in his mind mop up duty is beneath him. I think he's gone after the season.

Even if he intends to transfer, he can't just check out. Other schools don't give a shite about his high school tape right now. He has a whole season of college play. If he doesn't show out for his own self interest at this point, even his transfer prospects dwindle.

I can argue both sides of this

devil's advocate - a guy like Leach at Wazzou would take Eason in a heartbeat.

they love to air it out and are very close to having a shot to win the Pac 12

plus, Leach probably feels (rightfully so based on track record) that he would be able to "coach him up")

think about it - hometown kid comes back to study under one of the best in the business

he'd sit out 1 year; but imaging what that move would do for recruiting receivers & linemen for the Cougars

yes; Eason needs to show SOMETHING here at UGA

but he already has - his Frosh season was decent & he does have the tools

any coach that believes in his own ability to develop a QB would be (is) salivating at the thought of getting this type of transfer

Wrong. After the fumble, all smart said to him was "that was a big hit, are you ok?" And Eason said yeah, and walked away.

I have it on my dvr, I can take a phone video to Imgur and post it for you if you wish.
