I hate Owens...like I legitimately really really hope bad things happen to him in his personal life.
Although, I guess my anger is misplaced and shouldnt' be on his loser incompetent arse, and should instead be on the SEC in general. We're a frickin billion dollar industry that can't even invest in full time officials. Sure they'd only "work" 4 months of the year, but the other 8 they can be taking continuing ed classes, getting more certifications, practicing/training, studying up...hell they can even have a few months off in the middle of the year like teachers. There is NO REASON whatsoever to have regular 40 hour a week joe schmoes come in on saturday and decide these games. None.

I can't tell if I liked this officiating or not. On one hand...there were some BLATANT calls that they ate the whistle. Mostly DBs holding/interfering with WRs. BUT, to his credit, he did it both ways. We pushed around their WRs some with no calls and they did the same to us with no calls.
I just can't take the obvious 1-way only calls.
