good start to the season in the opening innings. we should have a chance to win some series this year with our stud robert tyler pitching on fridays.
2 run home run by nick bell kicks off the season and a lot of bad baseball being played by EIU from what i can tell on gametracker.

Yea, I watched a little at work and he was leaving his fastball up at times. He'll be a great Friday night pitcher for us the next 2 seasons.
We've hit 3 home runs so far? Maybe the low seam balls are actually making a difference...

Dawgs recover in the bottom of the 1st, though, now up 5-2.
Maybe it's the new bats and balls, but we actually seem to have some serious offense on this team.

Definitely seem improved but it's also eastern Illinois. Still, I will take it. We weren't doing this the last few years against ANYONE

We had 13 homers all of last year. We had 5 last night. Clearly something has changed. And now we're up 6-2. If we can sweep these guys and take Kennesaw on Tuesday, I'll really be excited about FSU next weekend.

Great outing by sosebee today pitching 5 scoreless so far only giving up 3 hits.
