I mean, yeah...

I'm interested in the wetness level of the georgia gold sauce. are the chicken fingers gonna be messy, or too dry?

is litigator gonna get a different sauce to dip the fingers into? maybe a ranch? will he add some hot sauce?

Good questions.

Litigator, Can we also get a single-word first impression description after your first bite...and other scenarios you think of?

I'm also curious about the pickles and if there's any system behind their placement or if it looks like they just chuck a handful in there.

It definitely has meaning. I've never had one ever when the pickles weren't put on top.
Seriously? I've never had one where the pickles were on the top, I don't think I've ever seen a picture of one with the pickles on top.

And CFA pickles are typically on the bottom. I've had scenarios where they came on top (RARELY) and a few times where they attempted to circumvent the fresh sandwich requirement and give me the extra pickles in a cup on the side. Not sure about the methodology behind either.

Stage 1 Winner? Chase Elliot
Stage 2 Winner? Joey Logan
Race Winner? Brad K
Will DW do a standard 'Boogity, Boogity, let's g racing" or add lib something even more awkward? Will add because it's monsters first race..he will incorporate them and will embarrass all of NASCAR nation yet again.
Will Danica even finish the race? Yes, 13th
First to crash, Chase or Junior? Chase will crash junior will finish 4th.

The Daytona 500 MFers Georgia Gold KFC Snafu/Review

So I pull into the local KFC for this review.

Among the featured items are Georgia Gold and Nashville Hot.

I ordered Georgia Gold but (lesson always check order before leaving) the box containing the chicken had a Nashville Hot sticker affixed to it, causing confusion so I had to return to the store.

It was in fact confirmed as Georgia Gold and the wrong sticker was attached so for my troubles I got an extra dose of sauce and a cookie.

So there was plenty of sauce and even a couple of pickle slices.

And I got my own Mexican Coke but the order was still not totally accurate as I received slaw after ordering mashed potatoes and gravy. Oh well.

But it was good with the sauce not quite as mustardy as I was expecting and a bit spicier. I would recommend that you give it a try.

And for good measure I broke off a piece of the biscuit and drug it through the sauce. It was some kind of salty.

IMHO, Popeye's kicks KFC's arse on biscuits.

Don't tell SBJ I admitted to that.

Btw, I'd be willing to try a review live on video if you figure out a good way to do it privately (i.e., just within the GSB).

Well done!

There's no telling how much the snafu cost you you in temp reduction and sogginess encroachment though. Too bad.

Also, I'm only counting two pickles. What are you doing to piss these people off? This is crazy.

Why don't we get our own package and have to use recycled Nashville containers instead?

That's bullshite.

Same thing happened to the guy in the YouTube review I linked in the other thread.

S1: Popeyes in my favorite chicken chain. I pretty much like everything on the menu. I rarely go to KFC but they have a chicken fried steak meal I like to have now and then.

DC: I like the Mexican Cokes and I believe they have Mexican Pepsis too although I've never been a big Pepsi fan. If you like fruit punch the Jarritos line is good as it is carbonated so it's fruit punch with a kick.

Yes KFC was very light on the pickles; CFA was heavy on the pickles.

Edit--made it through phase one of the game by picking standard. I thought it was coming when he said that he was waiting six months to say this.

Terrible strategy by the toyotas there. Not sure what they were trying to pull off by pitting that early.

Unless there's a wreck before they get lapped.

I used to play fantasy nascar which helped me keep up with it but admittedly haven't watched in a while.

I heard on the MSB they were going to "stages" but I assumed that was during the season, almost like a 1/3 mark, 1/4 mark, half way through the season mark, etc.

I turn on today and see that it's stages PER RACE? Wtf is this? I saw it earlier in this thread after reading back but good hell...NASCAR sure aint what it used to be.

So Kyle Busch goes into history as the first winner of the first phase ever of a NASCAR Cup race.

One of Jefferson's favorites, Jimmie "Robot" Johnson, managed to slip into the top ten.

Edit--the three phase format reminds me somewhat of a hockey game.
