Seth Emerson has UGA at #16 on his ballot. You may who this is, I don’t have an answer. It was retweeted by a UGA friend.

ETA: I forgot he was a writer for the Macon Telegraph

His podcast is excellent.

As to where we "deserve" to be ranked, I wouldn't have a huge issue with a top 10' ranking. We lost on the road by 3 to a team who played much better against us than anyone else and we still could have won convincingly if we hadn't shot ourselves in the foot. And despite our woes on defense and passing game, we have a top 5 scoring offense in the country.

It's remarkable they are a top 5 offense. I'll credit Bobo for 5% doing a damn fine job keeping this tard mobile rolling and 95% Gurley for being a god.

But they aint top 10 IMO. But then I think about it and, hell, who do you really put ahead of em

Exactly. No teams have been dominant really. Everyone looks beatable so far except miss st and I think we could have a decent amount if success against top 10 opponents. With the exception of a few teams I think we match up poorly against, we can beat anyone. Except the Carolina game in 2012, Georgia always keeps it close. I don't think we're going to go through the rest of the season unscathed, but it's not going to be because we suck and the sky is falling.

Mississippi State looked pretty good. But how good is ATM, really? Still .. road win at a down LSU is still an accomplishment.

I bet Ole Miss is brought down to reality though (inconsistent QB play)

Well, Zona is undefeated and beat the #2 team. I doubt they'll finish in the top 10 but there aren't that many undefeated teams left and they deserve credit for what they've accomplished thus far IMO.
