Why does it have to be this way? Why do we have to play either really good or really bad...we need consistency and it starts in the trenches.

I sincerely hope the Oline had a good look in the mirror this morning and realized they get their man cards taken away from them by Nicholls.

Time to earn that shite back.

Seriously need to consider going to more shotgun and spreading the field more. Eason is noticeably more comfortable in that setup at the moment, and we don't have the OL personnel to manhandle teams against an 8-man box.

I don't want to even begin to think how insufferable the MiZzzou posters on here will be for the next year if we go out there and manage to lose.

We'll be lucky to win by a field goal and I wouldn't be confident in that with our current kicker.

We also didn't use a FB as much yesterday when running the ball. I think if we're going to be run-heavy, we need our bruiser in there at FB.

How does Mizzou compare to Lamar? That is our current baseline.

With our WR's really struggling to gain separation, any reason Hardman has not been used on the O at all? I thought Mecole would at least be able to help on ST's, has he even played the first two? I have a gut feeling the staff will go back to Lambert for this game, I hope I am wrong.

More spread option and running outside the tackles. Their DLine is huge, fat, and will tire easily. Mizzou has little depth so our OLine needs to play even with them until they tire and our RBs should have a field day in the 2nd half.

After taking care of UNC, chalk this weekend's poor performance up to week 2 letdown playing an FCS school. We still got the W and a teachable moment - don't underestimate anyone.

Anyways, apparently Mizzou's D isn't all it should be so the ground game should be effective. As long as the OL wakes up from its malaise playing "a nobody".

Locke will throw the ball 40 or more times. Our DBs better be ready to cover. Kirby likes to go man and put pressure on the QB with blitzes.
Mizzou is 11th in the SEC in run and pass defense. We need to burn them both ways.

I remember the 2014 game in Columbia and going in to it we all knew Gurley wasn't going to play and there was quite a bit of hand wringing going on. Of course Chubb had his breakout game and UGA won convincingly 34-0.

Granted, it's a new regime, different players, earlier in the year, etc., but my thoughts are that UGA wins this one along the lines of 27-13.

Our new OC isn't close to the '14 OC. We score 14 pts on offense.Lets hope McKenzie and the defense put some points on the board.

I agree. Great litmus test for Coach Smart. Do we get the NC team or the Nicholls team?

I think the former.
