Seems like a good hire. Kirby is definitely beefing up his staff. Hopefully this translates into better performance for our players on and off the field.

Isn't one of the tricks with strength coaches, they have unlimited time with players unlike regular coaches?

So you could hire an offensive coach to help install and coach offense but you call him a conditioning coach or something like that.

My understanding is they are limited but have by far more access to the players by a wide margin.

I think S&C guys get access to the players 365, while the coaches have more limited time to spend with them throughout the year.
