Squatch,
I replaced the fuel line from the filter to the carb with an eth-resistant hose back in 2011.
Also, my SOP is to run the carb dry at the ramp to prevent gumming, although i dont specificslly remember doing that last time.
Nomore hints

Does air filter and cover off = carburetor off?
Did you use starting fluid?

I havent used starting fluid in years but im not against using it sparingly. I do keep some for emergency.
There is no air filter.
I was pretty explicit on the definition of carb being removed.

If No starting fluid,
8 pulls for the think its gonna start, 13 total
How was the carb before? Do you use a fuel shut off? Or just turn it off?
3 beers, one partial because you knock it over.

Running 50:1 mix (and if you really did what you said) it should fire up on the first pull.
For beers consumed I would guess you are talking about the time frame from when you first pull the cord until it runs.
That should be zero.
If not I can sell you a 3.5 that does...

make model year weight price?
I haven't touched my gamefisher yet, already raining when I got home. Will start tomorrow.
Ballots/edits allowed up until 7:30pm tomorrow (Thurs)
I might sweeten the pot with an authentic KVD Sexy Shad 18+ deep runner... $6 lure I've never caught shite with.

It's getting minutely better and the 10,000th post prize package could have been worse--at least it is not a one way outboard powered boat trip to the middle of the lake.

....nice....I'm impressed with the level of detail.

From the OP,
quote:
Including the beer in my hand when i begin tomorrow around 7pm, how many will have been consumed by the time it gets running?
I take that to mean just the overall grand total consumed at all that day prior to it running.

"Beers opened on the day i begin working on it, not including beers opened after it is running"

Up to 38.
About to open #2.
Does anyone remember the Dana Carvey HBO special from the early 90's when he's comparing Jimmy Stewart to Hugh Grant?
