When Gurley is over 100 yards in the second quarter of the Tech game.

Question: When the fck is Chubb gonna get in if Gurley never sits out?

Probably not very often, if at all. Was your question supposed to be sarcastic?

Assuming we dont' have a catasrophe like we did last year, Gurley/Marshall will probably get 85%+ of the carries. The only reason we might play both Michel and Chubb is if we feel neither will be sticking around for 4 years. If we were confident one would do that, I would love to redshirt one.

Would be useless. No way either stays for a RS Sr season. They can run the ball some (and probably will be needed at some point), return kicks, etc.

IMO, we should be going on the assumption that they'll be here 3 years. 4 years max.

Thanks for the feedback.

Well it's kind of a pointless question. He's a true freshman in a stacked backfield. He'll get carries next season for sure but I don't see why it matters right now. The most important thing for him is to get down pass blocking and a few carries here and there when giving Gurley/Marshall a breather.

He'll be playing nickel so I'm guessing that's why he wasn't listed on the base defense depth chart

Curious to see if Davis or Blazevich gets the number 2 spot. Depth has me worried there, and we're not as big with Lynch gone.

Starting to think we should end up with some talented corners, but safety is still a big problem. Any news on TT making any progress this summer?

Gurley had to take himself out in 2012, too.

After his 100 yard kickoff return against Buffalo, he had to get fluids. And of course... he sat for over the next 15 minutes in the game.

It's kind of silly to say, "it doesn't happen... except for this time. and except for that time. and except for that time. and i forgot about that last time. But it doesn't happen. How dare you speak like that."

The guy is superman. We are at a national championship level on offense with him on the field. But running like he does takes a toll (especially the superhuman runs). He is who he is. I don't blame him for needing a moment after these big plays.

With Carter and a couple of DB's breaking the 2 deep, this looks just about right. I see Thorton I listed #1 at NT. I'm borderline on that one.

Isn't this edition just used as a motivation tool and I know Pruitt follows a more Saban styled philosophy in keeping starting positions open and merit based for each game.
