So we get Young from Miami. 900+ yds last season at Miami. We got the kid from Vandy. So, does KS not put alot of stock in our younguns, or do we just need some proven depth? Either way, Beck is gonna have plenty of targets next season.

To clarify, Young had over 900 yards total between 2 seasons.

Was adding Rara and Lovett demonstrating lack of confidence in Bowers, Ladd, MRJ and Arian Smith this season?

I think this says a lot about what we can expect next season.

It's going to be even more of a down the field, aggressive offense with the ball in Beck's hands, and well see more of a focus on the WRs as opposed to the TEs.

Agreed. Our TE development has been elite, but Bowers is a generational player. Gotta get the ball in the hands of the other guys.

Arian Smith, maybe. He has hands of stone.

RaRa was a direct consequence of AD Mitchell jumping ship (X receiver).

Lovett was the best receiver we faced in '22. You could say there was a lack of confidence in Arian Smith. And McConkey shined in the Y spot.

Was he healthy like 2 games?

I'm not sure what your point is.

Are you throwing dirt at Ladd for being hurt?

Something else?
(If something else, you will have to explain it because contextually I don't have a clue)

To contend, you need to have starting level talent 2 deep at each spot

Is that his argument?

Are we telling Dom Lovett that he will have his place on the 2 deep when we pitch him coming to Athens?

I don't know what the arguments are.
RaRa was brought in because we lost AD.
Lovett was brought in because we didn't have an alpha in the slot.

I don’t know how they sell it. I just know what you need.

Arian Smith has been my single biggest disappointment as a player, this season. Dude flat out regressed from '22.

If he catches half of his drops that were guaranteed TDs based on how open he got due to his speed, then Beck is in NYC as a Heisman finalist.

He underthrew him in the SECCG. He should have scored on that long throw, but he had to slow down to get it. Led to a field goal. Karma, I guess.

That's Beck's #1 issue. He must get better at deep balls this off-season.

I think our QBs are coached to throw a catchable ball when they have man in trail vs trying to put it in stride.

I agree. I always wondered why Stetson's deep balls appeared to be thrown short instead of catching the receiver in stride until I realized he was trying to throw a catchable ball instead of over throwing it.

There's always room for improvement on the long ball, but I maintain that WRs with the dropsies were the majority of the problem.
