Yeah us blowing our wad on offense so quick, really fricks our D by not giving them hardly any recovery time. Thats why feeding them Gurley is the best thing we could do.

And we don't need Gurley every down...as long as he is in there some..we can change speed with all the other talent we have in the backfield....

So suffice it to say, Clemson probably figured they didn't have to worry much about Mason...and so far they're right. And by not handing the ball to Gurley much, we've made it even easier on their defense.
This game could actually be worse than tied if Clemson hadn't shot themselves in the foot a few times.
I hope we see an entirely different approach in the second half.
Problem with "feed Gurley" is that you have to be able to keep 'em honest with an actual passing threat....

Gurley 4 rushes for 44 yards. No rushes in the 2nd quarter. Rest of UGA rushed 8 times for 1 yard

I think part of the problem is that the defense has been on the field 8 minutes longer than the offense. Gurley got his kick return TD but it put the defense right back on the field. Long drives on defense and short drives on offense are limiting the number of touches he can have.

Redcoats clearly more talented than Ckemson. Have a stud trumpet but after his first solo he's over on the sideline with a triangle. That #3 kid came in instead.

We had 2 drives where we scored and both took less 1 min and 15 secs. Throw in the kick off return for a td and our D is gonna get thrashed in the 2nd half if we dont do something different. This same shite cost us back in 2012 against Bama.

"Feed Gurley", we are not feeding Gurley, we are starving him to death. He is averaging 11 yards a carry for goodness sake. If I were a Clemson fan I would be ecstatic with this idiocy.
