Staying in Louisville. Bourbon and good room rates. Screw Indy and $800 hotel rooms in that cold arse place. Flying was too risky given what airlines have been up to lately.

I'm staying in Nashville Sunday night, getting picked up MOnday morning by buddies to go the rest of the way. Another quick trip; getting there MOnday afternoon driving home Tuesday. Got a hotel next to the stadium to thankfully save on parking and ubering.

Grabbed two extra tickets last night after UGA folks put ours on. Still around 5,500 tix on StunHub.
I see the UGA/Bama sides but not sure how the stadium is split or where bands are.
With game on Monday, Indy not being a destination, Bama not as excited as a Michigan or Cinci would have been, flights pricey and Indy hotels ridiculous..would expect the upper deck prices to get down near face value and maybe lower closer to game.
Should be some last minute deals for folks that want to drive up. Lots of reasonable hotels within 2 hours for folks that just want to go to the game.
Tickets really aren’t going that much over face value. StubHub are the ones cleaning up. Nice racket getting a cut from both sides.

Even a Fairfield 1 hour south wanted $560 a night. Guess with lots of people driving and all coming from the same direction.

Pretty sure we'll be in white road jerseys, would be awesome if we broke out the red pants or better yet black pants (not sure if we even have those), black wouldd look awesome with the black numbers on our white jerseys.

Yeah, right now the high for next Monday is only 27. Not gonna want to spend much time outdoors for sure, so hopefully the security outside the stadium won't be as brutal as 2017.
I've got two nosebleed tickets to the game through the University, but probably can't make it due to work obligations.

Spent a lot of time in Indy over the years, we will be entering the Stadium as soon as it opens. They dont have an entertainment district for an event like this, sure they will have tents but thats it.
