I can't even talk to my tater friends after the game last year...they're insufferable. I have to tell them to get fricked just about every day.

Please stop saying 2 walkons are playing better than our 4 star recruited talent. You guys sound foolish. The only reason these 2 arse clowns are starting is so that our 1st team WRs will look awesome, and then our starting CB's will show out on the walkon WR's. It's spring game 101 and gets the fans jacked when plays are being made.

These are players on the team. Why are you calling them arse clowns? Pretty shitty.

Um, no.

I really don't think you're grasping what's going on here.

reaction to him was that Pruitt was sending a message to them like with Bailey over Drew

Bailey over Drew might not be a smoke screen..... Bailey is who they let be on the Bulldawg Roundtable this morning on 680.....

They don't normally interview 2nd or 3rd string guys on the roundtable.

I will be creating a separate topic for that though..... when its posted online. I'm done with Dowdle.

Yeah, cuz it worked so well dropping Theus on the depth chart last year right. I understand it perfectly.

I offered that up as something that MAY be happening. As bad as the secondary was last year it's not outside of the realm of possibllity. And wasn't Parker Welch above Christian Lemay on the depth chart?

It was noted in the spring practice thread that Davis, had he not been injured his last two seasons of high school, may have been a top recruit in the state. What an "arse clown".

We didn't know it. But why does it matter? Would you rather the best player play or just play because they were ranked higher out of high school?

Honestly, based on the way we lose players to suspension and injury, it can't hurt to get him some meaningful reps with the ones. It will all shake itself out, and like was mentioned earlier, this could just be Pruitt sending a message to some guys. Or they may be playing the best right now.

Then that would imply that Todd Grantham wasn't all that bad, it was just the players. So says just about everyone on here anyway.

Good post, but if someone had the time to look at spring ball depth chart and compare it with seasons past, the pre-season/end of summer depth chart is usually more realistic. Gaytor may be somewhat correct, but I don't think these guys are stupid. A player knows when a point is trying to be made, but he also knows a coach isn't going to risk a loss for that pt.

That really doesn't let TG off the hook at all. It was his job to recruit good players.

C'mon guy, were we not all excited to get Langley, Wiggins, Swann, JHC, and Tray Matthews? We weren't the only team hard after them. Maybe he didn't coach'm up, but we do employ DB coaches as well.
