Whats the consensus on UGAs pass rush potential? Are we going to be able to pressure the quarterback?

I think the ceiling on those two for this year is extremely high, along with D'andre Walker and a good d-line, if it all can come to fruition it could be special.

Bellamy and Lo should provide consistent pressure. Lo needs to turn it up several notches. I'm thinking we could get pressure inside from Patrick and Roquan when they blitz. Patrick has some rush skills and Roquan is fast. The key is for Trent and the outside linebackers to attract double teams while opening up lanes for others.

R. Carter is a wildcard player. Grantham, Pruitt, and now Tucker all seem to think highly of him. Nobody seems to be able to unseat him as starter. Curious to see how he performs barring injuries.

D'andre Walker

Walker will be our most productive OLB by the end of the year. He still needs to add mass, but he has a quick first step and long arms. I don't have much confidence in LoCarter. He looks the part, but he his Madden-like abilities doesn't match his play. With Bellamy, Walker and a strong ILB core (Roquan, Reggie Carter, and Natrez) we should be just fine.

Agreed on Walker. One of the quickest first steps I've ever seen. Hopefully he's in the plans for some third down rush situations.

Also, I've seen where Chuks Amaechi has been having a great camp. I believe he is actually getting reps with the ones over Lorenzo Carter right now.

Either way, we have a solid 2 deep there that should provide a consistent pass rush. That paired with a talented secondary will be great for this season's pass defense

I think Carter turns it on this year. It has been mentioned before, but I think Carter played different after that helmet to helmet or whatever the play was early in the season where he got ejected.

I don't know if it was on him, or one of the coaches but it seems like he toned down his play to avoid the penalty instead of playing the game as usual but with better technique. Or he could of just sucked, but he has the talent and I think he turns it on this year with Floyd and Jenkins leaving.

I'm very excited to see how our LBs and DEF does. I think we have a ton of talent but a lot of younger guys with not too much experience. The future is looking bright, that is for sure.

I'm with the other guys on here...I think Bellamy will be a beast, by far our best pass rusher. I'm not sold on Carter yet. He has all the ability in the world but it hasn't really shown up on the field.Time will tell if he can step it up. I'm excited about Walker and Amechi.
