i can recall only 1 play he played in.... does that single play burn it? Seems like he's been hurt and could get a medical.

Good question. Hopefully someone with an answer will stop by.

The student-athlete must suffer the injury during one of their four seasons of college competition or during the senior year of high school.
The injury must be incapacitating. That means it must be a season-ending injury.
The injury must occur prior to the start of the second half of the season.
The student-athlete must not have competed in more than 30% of the season or three contests, whichever is greater.

He has played in several games. We used him in back to back games for 1 or 2 plays lined up as a slot receiver to block for outside run plays.

The image burned into my memory of Holyfieythis season is of him standing on sideline waiting to get in the Nichols state game.

He was suppose to get three quarters of playing time and was ready to go with helmet on all day long.

But he never got on the field.

It really is sad. I thought the guy was ready. It seems like kirby is overstocking his cheetos for future eating.

In garbage time against Ole Miss I think he had at least half a dozen touches.
