At least it didn't say, "Georgia Football player Arik Gilbert arrested".

Media outlets released video surveillance video…it appears he was caught on scene. It’s a dang shame so much talent is going waste.

This is more than a feral kid from the hood going wild. Dude's got legit mental issues.

I had not even heard he transferred to Nebraska. Good thing as this would have brought a lot more unwanted media attention. I can't remember so much negative media since the Jan Kemp saga in an offseason. What a waste of talent.

I keep seeing comments on how they hope gets some help. Hes had more chances and more professional "help" than 99% of kids out there. Its time for him to face some consequences.

I agree. It's strike 5 and that's only shite we know about. He isn't your garden variety thug, though. He wasn't raised in the hood or any of that shite. Two parent solid middle class household, good grades, good school, every interview he sounds like Frederick Douglas, then the mental illness kicks in during later adolescence and early 20's as is with most schitzophrenic people. He needs to be hospitalized and medicated in a psych ward, and where his life goes from there, who knows. Hopefully to a better place.

Was his schizophrenia brought on by some bad drugs or he just naturally has some chemical imbalance?

You can google it for all the info. I have known two people who went schitz in late teens early 20's. That's when schitzophrenia typically hits.
