Nope... But I don't root for any SEC team to win a game other than UGA. Anything good that happens to UA, AU, UT, UF, SCe, OM etc. is bad for UGA IMO... Also add CU, GT, FSU to that list...

No, I hate dynasties if they're not my team.

Yes, it will put spotlight back on the SEC. Also, it will be positive for Smart heading into coaching Georgia with another national title as DC.

one more isn't going to sway any opinions good or bad. The sooner bama loses the sooner he's doing his job here.

Bama winning another NC isn't good for us any way you put it, go Spartans.

some people have the completely stupid mindset that SEC pride is good for UGA.

frick no. Go green, go white!

Saban can use the national title pitch infinitely better than Kirby can. I'm also not one of those people who need ESPN and other media outlets saying how much better the SEC is than other conferences. I don't give a shite what conference is considered the best, as long as Georgia is in the playoff picture at some point.

It's an entirely different situation for a head coach though. I would rather him have a week and half head start in January, especially with signing day so soon. I think it could certainly make a difference if he was 100% focused on UGA all of January rather than just part of the month.

That said, I don't think MSU can beat Oklahoma or Clemson, and I do not want either of those two to win, especially Clemson, so I'll probably pull for the Bammers.

I always pull for the SEC save the gators. I don't have it in me to pull for a gator, just can't.

I'm rooting for Bama because I live outside of the southeast and I get tired of the bashing each and every time any sec team loses. That said I won't shed any tears for Bama losing either. I do think that winning the natty could get Kirby a short-lived bump on the recruiting trail. But probably no more significant than any benefit from his start date being a week earlier. My preference was for Kirby to be on the job right away. He didn't want that so to me, a week isn't going to make or break Georgia football.

I am. If they lose again, it makes it harder to give the SEC champ the benefit of the doubt if they have a loss next season.
