It's not the "root" of the problem, the root of the problem is gurley doing what he did.

But it certainly doens't help us, and I would imagine it's why we're doing whatever the hell we're doing so we don't get tagged with the "lack of institutional control" label.

Was Gurley on Bryan Allen's fantasy swim/dive team or something?

OK..not the root but it seems to be the main issue right now. AS in UGA may have to take the route of saying TG is not as big as the program getting the lack of institutional control label

Yea I'm pretty sure Emerson or Dasher said that people they talked to said the swimming stuff was playing a really big role in all of this and affected the way we fought/are fighting/are presenting the case because we can't really come out and try and play the 'NCAA is the enemy' angle to put public pressure on them.

Bauerle should have had his arse fired the moment he did what he did because he was told not to and did it anyway.

Rivals board blowing up that Gurley will be re-instated tomorrow. I'll believe it when I see it.

That the admins always knew it was going be a 2 game suspension based on the information they had, but were trying to get it down to one. Should have clearance for re-instatement tomorrow.

God I hope this is true...no disrespect to Chubbs as honestly I think he'll end up being better than Gurley one day...but that means a few more chances to watch #3 tote the rock for the red and black a few more times

well that's a bold statement.

You think the 2nd best RB we've had in school history will be overtaken by the guy currently backing him up?

As do I, but I've learned to assume all internet rumors are garbage.

Respectfully disagree, but it's nice that we have a backup that people could even say that about.

It's like comparing Adrian Peterson and MJD. Chubb is a hoss, and will have huge games just like he did Saturday. There is NOTHING bad about Chubb, and he is a stud. But Gurley is just on a different level that other running backs rarely get to. He may not be as straight line, brute force powerful as chubb, but he is lightning fast, has vision other RBs dream of, a nasty stiff arm, and is pretty damn powerful in his own right. He also is a true threat receiving and is a ST ace as well. He is simply anything and everything you could possibly want in a running back. And that doesnt' come along often.
