Ok. Wasn't sure. I saw someone say that we were still after him, so I just wanted to see what you guys had heard.

I dont think we need him. We are 3 deep at NT with JT, JA and CM. All big bodies over 6'4 310 and a year out of High School(They will be here 2 or 3 more years together).

Honestly I hope they are cuz yak now the depth won't hurt. Unless they want to save the openings to back fill from this years recruiting class. If there not I don't think its a big deal though since there are a good number on DL for depth.

It reads like Georgia doesn't want him... why would he be so argumentative in such a quotational way? Let him take up a scholarship with Auburn.

quote:

There was one published report saying that UGA had stopped recruiting Johnson due to grades, and there was another one that said Johnson had a “time sensitive” scholarship offer from the Bulldogs. Johnson said he didn’t want to go into details, but said he last communicated with UGA on Wednesday.

He said he talked to UGA defensive coordinator Todd Grantham and defensive line coach Chris Wilson.

“I got upset when somebody said I was no longer being recruited by Georgia because of my grades,” Johnson said. “That was the case, at one time. But not any more.

“I’ve got a letter of intent from Georgia, and the other schools. I can send you pictures of it. Why would I lie about an offer? I was the No. 1 recruit in junior college until I got a knee injury. I’ve got plenty of offers. Come on, man.

When asked what exactly was said with the Georgia coaches on Wednesday, Johnson said, “I don’t want to put that out in the media. I’m going to keep that between us.”

He's going to Ole Miss. You can't pass up a package deal.
