In some ways easing him into September games would make sense. UNC wouldn't have an answer for him but they're a competitive enough team to get him back into the RB role with full contact. I just hope whenever he comes back is the right time. I've followed him since he was in HS and think he's a great kid with tons of talent.

It wouldn't surprise me to see him get 5 or 6 carries against UNC and let Sony and others do the rest. Next week we have Nicholls so maybe 10 carries there. Then missouri so maybe 10-15 carries. I would imagine (total guess on my part, not based on any facts) we want him full bore for ole miss. Knowing who we have the first 3 weeks I dont' see why we wouldnt' bring him along gradually to be ready for then.

To think that he won't get a single carry prior to october just seems so far fetched I can't wrap my head around it.

I guarantee TB doesn't know more than the average UGA fan right now. All he knows are what his sources know, who, I would assume, haven't seen Chubb before or after injury,

Couple that with the fact that with the fact we're talking about a blue chip athlete and not some joe schmoe who injured his playing church league basketball, I'd say we can chalk Mr Barnharts opinion up with the rest of the grains of salt regarding Chubbs recovery.

You'll have to excuse us if we're still a little stung about losing a Heisman candidate running back and are being asked about his condition by a fan of the rival team that was on the field where he got hurt. And if you go to VolNation you'll find that there are some who applaud his injury.

Chubb will be on the field and healthy vs UT in Athens. And he'll be 110%. It's just his nature.

You act like Prof is trying to troll with this thread, which I can assure you he is not. Prof may be socialist scum, but a malicious troll he is not.

Hippa is a ruse to drive up healthcare costs and provide jobs to IT people.

Assuming you are serious, it is the laws that do not allow doctors to give out medical information to anyone other than the patient, or those that the patient give permission. Chubb, I am sure has given the doctor permission to give information to the coaches, but he would not give permission for the media, fans etc to get updates on his condition.

ETA

It also covers a ton of other stuff...but I am thinking in this case it is what he (Lewis&Herschel) is talking about.

U serious Clark? This thing called Google is amazing, even if you've been living under a rock for a while.

He's confusing HIPPA with electronic records. HIPPA has be around forever. Electronic records law came into existence circa 2010 and EMR is a pain in the arse. What makes it even more nonsensical is the DEA made a rule requiring "wet prescriptions - aka physical signed RXs making the EMR fax system insane on certain RXs that keep changing." And it makes zero sense as I can fake a wet RX pretty easy.

At any rate, I hope Chubb comes back better than ever. V&S is correct --I'm socialist scum-- but I don't troll and genuinely admire Nick Chubb.

It's HIPAA, not HIPPA, and EHR (not EMR) laws have been in existence way before 2010.

I think EMR is correct but HIPPA is not - I did google both. Of course, google is fallible. Regardless, I'll use your spelling from now on (well when I remember to).

Hopefully Lmabert (not likely) or Eason is able to carry the load at QB better than Lambert did last season and allow Chubb all the time needed to heal properly. Gurley seemed to have bounced back pretty good....and they are probably having similar treatments from similar or the same Docs...
