Any Insight On Chubb's Return?

ATL Radio's Tony Barnhardt said according to the orthos he's spoken with that he'd be shocked if Chubb played before October. If so, how do y'all see that effecting the OM and UNC games? Have you heard anything different in terms of a timeline for his return? I've been a fan of Chubb since we were recruiting him and hope he recovers 100 percent but don't want him to come back and re-aggravate the injury if he's not ready. He's too special of a talent not to handle his return with extreme caution even though I'm sure as a player he'll want play sooner than maybe doctors are comfortable with.
Thoughts? Should we expect Chubb sooner? Any other timelines you've heard?

WTF is this shite. Go search all our threads on Chubb and find out. It's pretty clear where he's at and when he will be ready. Do that, then come talk. Tony doesn't know shite and hasn't talked to any of our doctors our our ortho working on him.
Seriously, why are you on here?

From the guys on the team that I know, they are all saying he's ready to go right now.

Most orthopedic surgeons will tell you this injury is a 12 month healing process. I talked with an ortho surgeon here (did my neck 3 years ago and is a fishing buddy) and he said the same. 12 months give or take 1 month.

I hope and pray that they do not bring back Chubb too soon..... I know they are having to hold back Chubb right now.... but it is for his own good.... healing right is a whole lot better than screwing it all up again...

Chubb's knee is getting shot up with some stuff that will make it heal faster.
Silver ions or some shite.
Developed at UGA vet hospital for use on surgical wounds.
Long term affects on humans- somewhere between Unknown and Heisman Trophy.

You have the exact medical records on what they did, to what ligaments, what cartilage, what bones and to what percentage of each was done? Any professional ortho will give you a bullshite answer. No one here and certainly not Tony B, has talked directly to the surgeon or Ron about it and for a straight answer. All we know is that they are continuously saying he is way ahead of schedule and doing certain activities (which we've seen on video). That being said, we don't know what their schedule was/is, so it's meaningless. All I know is that AM shouldn't have been able to so the things he did before the NFL draft and he did.
I can guess and bullshite too....Chubb starts vs UNC and carries it 30 times...I talked to an ortho and a coach that said he was on track for that and it is the plan

Chubb will be back just in time to join Michel and Holyfield and run like a steamroller all over the Tennessee Volunteers.

Probably the same amount as you. So your guess is no better than mine. Or, more exact, my guess is as good as yours.

What's ridiculous is the fact that all of the people believing Tony Barnhart and his supposed medical personnel, none of whom have worked with Chubb, saying it will be a year. So you're telling me that Chubb, an absolute freak, who has repeatedly been ahead of schedule, can't beat those predictions by a month??

I don't kow anything, but just a wild guess....
I think he plays in every game, but starts his first game Sept. 17 with Missouri, and goes from there. I feel this way, because they will want to get him ready for Ole Miss by starting him against Mizzou.

Thanks for the info. And guys, I meant no offense by asking. I asked it because it was on the radio and I didn't know if there'd been a change. You guys seemed the best place to ask this question.

not playing before october doesn't even sound like it's in the realm of reality, but I'm sure tb is privy to more information than I am.
Just based on everything we know not only about chubb's work ethic and physical makeup, but also on the videos and reports we are already seeing with 3 months still to go, it just doens't even make logical sense that he wouldn't play at all in september.
