He played in the second series as well. Should be ready for Rocky Flop.

If Gurley tweaked a hammy he shouldn't play until he's healthy. The last run where he fell down didn't look good but who knows if there is a problem? I hope Richt is just being cautious.

The running game is amazing. We have the best RB. The second best RB. The Third best RB and maybe the fourth best RB.

I love the dude but I'm finding myself holding my breathe every time he runs worried about injury. He's starting to be injury prone for a back who only carries 15-20 game. Can't imagine him carrying it 30-35 like the Nebraska or Oklahoma back did today.

It looked, at least to me, that he came up a bit gimpy on his last run. Hope I'm wrong but it looked like he tweaked a muscle or something.

I think he was just tired to be completely honest. Plus he came back in the game after that and sat out following the second series. I might be thinking of the wrong play, but I assume you're talking about the one where he had the chance to break off a decent run to the left on about the 10 yard line, right?

I thought he looked a little gimpy vs USCjr. Definitely vs Troy.

He's starting to be injury prone

Care to provide examples?

2012- missed 0 games due to injury or otherwise
2013- bruised thigh in the first game and a high ankle sprain in September. Most folks sit out 2 months or more with a high ankle sprain. He came back and played the last 6ish games of the season
2014- missed 0 games due to injury

So again..how is he "injury prone"? He didn't get hurt against Troy btw.

Gurley is a big man and he puts out a tremendous effort every time he runs the ball, similar to Moreno, and I still don't think he's in the best shape relative to his effort. Moreno needed relief also after several runs.

I don't think he is injury prone at all. But he does seem to run out of steam at the end of long runs or after a couple of back-to-back runs. I don't know if it is conditioning, or just genetics. Some explosive running backs just use a lot of gas in a hurry.

But if keeps busting the long ones, let him rest whenever he wants.

It was not his last run. He came in the next series.

Are you an Auburn fan because this is the exact BS they keep saying.

He got hurt last year. Other than that he's been healthy.
