And the DB coach, DC, and LB coach on that defense are now coaching for Tennessee.

Another notch in our favor.

Initially. With the plan of eventually taking Leningrad and other major cities.

Didn't get to Leningrad 'til November though. When his men were half-starved, half-froze, and half-dead because of the winter weather.........

Was a suicide mission.

"could" yes.

"will" no.

I think the defense shows up.
Tennessee is 1 dimensional and those are the types of teams that we can get to.

What? The Wehrmacht reached Leningrad at the end of August and began the siege in early September. It was still summer, so the soldiers weren't even partially starved, frozen, or dead. Tired from the rapid advance, yes, but in good trim overall.

The Germans also specifically ruled out taking Leningrad, because they didn't want to have to feed its population. As far as taking other major cities, they'd captured nearly all of the major ones in Western Soviet Union by the end of the summer. Pretty much only Moscow remained - and they would have captured it, but for the fact that Hitler diverted his panzer divisions to the Ukraine, and didn't resume the advance on Moscow until October. The Russians finally stopped them outside Moscow in December - by which time AG Center had outrun its supply lines.

Huh? Okay........ It was basically a Summer Vacation for the Germans then. There were no issues with being unprepared for winter conditions whatsoever. They roasted weenies every night and drank Corona with lime wedges stuffed in the bottle neck............ The Russian invasion was a brilliantly planned and executed?

Our best years (02, 03, 04, 07, 12) all of our losses with one exception (SC 07) have come to teams who were pretty good to really great

I agree but the 07 SC game was all Jasper Brinkley(SC Linebacker), saw it live at Sanford and he changed the game just like Clowney does all the time. SC started as an elite team and just lost players, energy and hope at the end of the season. It wasn't like we lost to Uconn or Iowa State!

God Dammit can Keith Marshall please run like a bat out of Hell with his a-hole on fire for 260 all purpose yards and be the back that we remember from last year, the #1 in SEC for yards per carry?

Please Keith... this is your chance.... Gurley all banged up... hurt some motherfrickers.

We all know Georgia. We usually shite the bed against a couple of opponents every year.

It's just a matter of time, right?

Everything else your write is true as rain but if Germans were being forced to drink Corona they were definitely living under worse conditions than any army had ever suffered....at least according to Germans who are the ultimate beer snobs (with good reason).....

There is a monument directly in front of Hitler's Munich Headquarters memorializing the millions of Germans who lost their lives (and the first world war in part) by waiting too late to invade Russia and finding themselves engaged in battle in winter (which, by the way, begins in earnest in Southern Germany by late September and by mid-October is in full swing in Poland and the Soviet Union....it don't have to be February for folks to freeze to death in this part of the world). Any way Hitler lived at the opposite end of the small park that this monument is in when he was in residence snd supposedly walked past that monument every day. It is amazing that in all those trips it never sank in that invading Russia in late Summer and early fall wasn't a good idea, especially when he coupled this with stretching the german lines....good thing he was a military idiot...

Of course we could lose. It's football.

But Georgia is by far the more talented team. It would take a pretty big brain cramp / Georgia beating themselves.

I'm not worried at all. Worley makes Driskel look like Tom Brady.

remember to add the usual 7 'gift' points to tennessee we usually allow them late in the 4th quarter. MR called off the dawgs after big leads only to see TN score very late touchdowns in 2003, 2005, 2007 and 2011.

While I think UGA may look a little sluggish out of the gate, I think it will start rolling before half.

You gotta let past crap go, these are not those players . And Bobo and Richt are not the same, they have changed, or should I say grown as coaches; especially Bobo.

Look at last week, we don't win on gameday , and never win when it's in Athens. But we did. This team has a different swagger in my opinion. Let them be them. I think this team has a chance to incredible, just believe.

Unfortunately I think we had to go unbeaten this year to win it all, that's jus bad luck though, has nothing to do with this team. The quack attack, buckeyes , and winner of Clemson/ FSU( which I think will be CU). Run the table out. They really have no real challenges out there.

Just enjoy watching this offense play and the defense grow, I was real encouraged with some of the young players last week , and some if the upperclassmen finally finding their groove (Drew).

This team has the chance to win out, and an SEC title ain't bad.

As far as today though , nervous early, blow out late.
