The shift towards "clicks over everything" at big papers plus Chip Towers' natural assholeishness has really ramped up the level of crap articles he/AJC put out.
I guess a 7-0 start, great off-field progress, and limited media access has them digging deep for an controversy they can make up.

Couldn't have said it better. Liberals are the worst. I don't care if you're man woman black white tranny if you are the best person to help us win hire that person. Sorry in the most man sport most of those people are men. They seem to completely forget two of our most important coaches are black

But yeah... this idea that somehow UGA is behind the eight ball to go out and find a new minority hire or we're somehow less as an institution is ridiculous... if we go 5-10 years and don't make a minority hire of any kind... sure... it's fair to point it out... but losing someone who (while potentially not a fan favorite) was at least imminently qualified for her job and then putting us on some kind of time clock to go out and find another fricking unicorn is ridiculous. Besides, she wasn't hired into that role... she *grew* into it... I would imagine we'd approach it that way with anyone. My biggest fear though, is this will be a couple of "OTJ" years at UVA, and whenever we part ways with Ears, we go back to the well to try and bring her back. I'm not sure that's in the best interests of anyone.

horseshite and it's a cowards response to sit back and say "both sides are wrong" or they're the "samething"...none of which is remotely true.
They're distinct differences and to pretend otherwise is absurd
