Kirby went on Finebaum and said it was crap that underclassmen declaring in January which disrupts recruiting in December. pretty clear indication to me that we would've had Sanders.

Pretty clear Alabama negative recruited selling him on Elijah Holyfield was likely staying and his playing time would be limited. Georgia couldn’t combat that at that time however in February we easily combat that horseshite.

Looks like UT grad transfer TE Eli Wolf is transferring to UGA.

That's weird. Grad transfers usually do that for playing time. He's a 2-star. He thinks he can start for us?

JR Reed was a 2 star as well I believe, and we’re not deep at TE at all. He’ll more than likely see some playing time next year.

idk what he's thinking. I can only assume he's bene injury plagued during his career, becuase he doesn't have a season with more than 5 catches or 50 yards. 1 career TD.

The only thing I can possibly guess is that he's a blocking animal and we brought in him strictly for that to have him do more of the blocking and leave the catching to Woerner. Otherwise I'm stumped.

If Sanders would have come, would that mean Pickens wouldn’t be in the class?

I know you weren't asking me and I have zero idea on the answer but I would assume we'd ditch seither if that was the situation we were faced with. Not to mention if we got sanders we likely don't take macintosh

I would have originally thought so too, but Kirby obviously thought TE was a huge need for us. And McIntosh’s LOI came in early IIRC, even when we thought we were getting Sanders. That’s why I asked about Pickens because I thought we were going to drop McIntosh originally as well.

I live in Tennessee and Wolf is actually known as a terrible blocker. That is the part that stumps me the most. He couldn't stay on the field specifically because he was a blocking liability at UT.

Yeah Wolf sucked at Tenner. I don’t know what he could bring to the table we’d want

Info on UTk offense, scheme, etc.

This move was all about intel on their program I bet. Kirby probably worried about Chaney and Gibbs going there and wanted to even things out.

Well, I guess we're good at TE numbers-wise

Radi hinted on Twitter that this wouldn't be the only transfer we get fwiw

I think it had more to do with having some experience at the TE position. Woerner would've been the only guy on the roster to play a down at the college level.

Blocking, and why do you say he sucked? He was stuck on a terrible team that doesnt throw to TE's, and UT had a talented starting TE ahead of him.
