Not so sure it isn't Anderson, Salyer and Hill....but I also wouldn't argue that you are right, either. It's almost as if they are 1 and 1A, with Hill coming in close behind.

Hill is in Auburn the first two weekends of the season. Doubt he commits to Georgia while he's on the plains.

Which is what makes me nervous about Hill. He has spent way too much time at Auburn, to suit me. Makes me nervous.

I don't think we'll get Hill.

any reason why other than his recent visits to AU?

Anytime someone has interest in Auburn, especially closed to NSD, all confidence goes out the window for obvious reasons. By by all accounts Hill has been an incredibly strong UGA lean forever, he played with Fromm last year, and he will see firsthand that we aren't shy about playing freshmen on the OL.

Rusty thinks its FSU or AU right now.

The reality is that we're super young and talented on the OL and should get Salyer at OG with Ericson already committed. That's a lot.

This is it, for me. I get that kids want to take all their officials. Who wouldn't? It's like going on a first date. You wine and dine them, treat them extremely special and pull out all the stops.

However, when a kid goes back to a place over and over it indicates there is more than just a passing interest. the more visits he takes, the more nervous I get. When they go for back to back weekends it's even worse. I guess only time will tell, but Hill makes me more nervous than any of the other recruits we have besides Fields.

As for Fields, I think we get him, but I also think Auburn is much more in the thick of it that many believe. And I also think FSU leads slightly right now.

Even more bothering is he is going to see Auburn play Georgia Southern. Even if a kid isnt that interested i get going to Bama FSU because its a huge match up.

What I heard on a recruiting podcast this week is that there is no recruiting contact allowed at the Bama/FSU because it's a neutral site game and neither school is considered to be hosting.

I'm not saying there won't be any "bumps", but openly pitching woo is prohibited.

So, other than being a big matchup, there is no recruiting advantage to be gained by a school having a kid come to that game.

But this is exactly why it is a great recruiting tool, all by itself. Showing a kid that you are playing in a huge, exciting game like this. The excitement and atmosphere alone makes for a big recruiting tool all by itself.

Salyer announces on 12/20, when he signs during the early signing period.
