Nice. Any word on Brown? Last I heard we were his leader.

Most believe that we still lead by a wide margin.

Eason dropped below Patterson in the new rivals rankings. Seems that 247 is the only service that still has Eason ahead.

Patterson is insanely good. If they were the same height I think Patterson would probably be the better prospect. Eason is a beast in his own right but he needs polish on his delivery. With that said, UGA fans should be happy with Eason. He is going to be a good one.

I was hesitant to buy into Patterson, mostly because ole miss posters on tRant suck a big bag of Ds. I can believe it after watching some of his highlights.

Can never hurt to give Eason an Ivan Drago to push him along

Reminds me of Drew Brees. He is a winner.

Interesting. By going to ole miss, it will be kind of like an unstoppable force meeting an immovable object in that regard

Eason is far and away better and its not even close. I don't know what you all are seeing but i see a QB who struggles hitting a WR n stride. Give me Eason for 3 years please....

I'd take Eason over him too. Just saying that he reminds me of Aaron Murray. He's a good player.

Fall of 2016 we play @ Ole Miss. There's a possibility these two will be dueling it out that day.

He's definitely not. Patterson is an elite prospect, just like Eason. He's ranked higher than Eason in a few services so it's clearly close.

Also, "it's not even close" is the dumbest fricking phrase on the internet, especially when making an opinion on something. In this case it's borderline retarded because the two quarterbacks are definitely close in talent level. That's pretty clear, bias aside.

I'm also sure that neither fanbase would trade one for the other. Patterson really fits what Ole Miss likes to do because he can move in the pocket and throw well on the run. Eason is currently in a complex high school offense and is making more than one read most of the time which is exactly what we're looking for in a prospect.

The film available doesn't lie. Eason CLEARLY, ABSOLUTELY, NO frickING DOUBT ABOUT IT, has the better arm strength. He makes throws in his film that some experienced college QB's struggle with. If you watch the Patterson kid, I can count multiple times where he under throws his WR targets. Eason also shows the ability to lead his receivers and has better accuracy when trying to throw in between 2 defenders compared to Patterson. Not saying the kid is a bad QB. He's a very good QB. He's no Eason.

Ok... This by itself is another reason why Eason is a better prospect. Again, not saying Patterson is a bad prospect... But he's sure as hell not #1. Eason is much better IMO.
