With the way Hockman has played this past season, I'm not so sure that I want him on scholarship...

Hockman's completion percentage is down to around 55% but his top receiver was injured.

Against Lownes County on GPT Friday Hockman was pretty impressive. The kid had a couple of bad sacks and several high throws but he was mostly on target with a lot of great passes.

Hockman has earned his lofty ranking. I see no reason to by hyper critical.

If we put the full-court press on Lawrence out of Cartersville then Hockman can go wherever he wants..just my opinion though. Lawrence looks like he's going to be a stud...

The kid has taken a major step back this year. He struggles to hit people in stride this year for some reason. And he has tons of weapons that losing one won't make a difference.

Hockman was hitting receivers in stride Friday night. I've only watched Friday's game and parts of two others and he has struggled some. Trevor Lawrence is a better prospect but UGA may be no better than second choice.

I hope Hockman stays a Dawg.

Tracy Rocker told Derrick Brown that Jeremy Pruitt is not leaving after the season. FWIW (probably doesn't mean much, but who knows)

If we don't keep Hockman, we will have to get someone else if not 2 someone else's. Eason would be the only scholarship QB on the roster in 2017. We would be an injury away from a worse situation than now. Which is terrifying.

Yeahhh i'm hoping that his teammate, Forristall, being a Bama commit doesn't sway him

I'd rather have the Fromm kid or the slinger from GAC. But that's just me and I've watched 6 of his games this year.

Didn't they just get a QB Commit though?

Yeah, I think Lawrence is for sure UT's to lose, but if Hockman isn't as good as advertised I think we could make a strong push because Lawrence would probably be able to play here a year earlier than he would be able to play at UT (they have the #1 Pro-style of 17 as well).

Hopefully Hockman can get it back together though. The kid definitely has talent, but I haven't been super impressed by him this year at all.

Doesn't matter. We've got Eason coming in and that didn't stop Hockman.

Hockman has arm strength for days and more mobility than any QB we have had in recent memory. He tends to over throw some and trust his arm too much at times but the kid has loads of talent. He also lost some of his recievers this year which hasn't helped him.

I was thinking in terms of him being 2 years behind Eason would be better than 1 behind the UT commit.

Probably just wishful thinking..

He still has several D1 WR's to throw too. You guys keep acting like they only have one good receiver. They are freaking loaded at every position.

Gotcha. I was talking about them having the #1 recruit at qb next year.

Yea I definitely want Hockman. Kid is a stud, and we will need him for those transition years after Eason leaves so we can avoid instances like 2009,2014, and 2015.

FWIW 80% of the Crystal Balls for Isaac Nauta are for UGA

I definitely get the impression Nauta is ours to lose. He's an EE too, right?
