Remember how bad we wanted Quan Bray? What about Gabe Wright? Montravious Adams? Aubies can't develop talent. Hince why almost all of their elite players have come via JUCO (Cam, Fairley, Duke Williams). Hell, the WR they had for 3 years still couldn't catch a football at the combine.

And he feels safer sending his son to Auburn over UGA? I don't think any of our players have gotten shot and killed as far as I can remember. Can't say the same for Aubs

I visited back in 2009...have to admit that Rodeo was on point.

There are a lot of reasons one may choose to go to AU. But none of what Mr Davis says makes a lick of sense. Sounds like he was reading an email straight from D Craig. Davis is gone, so be it. Only way you can believe that mess is because you want to. Like those voting for hope and change.

He's not as gone as someone like Antwuan Jackson (he definitely gone), but with the dad involved so strong and so early it doesn't look good.

Then again, Davis was completely committed to USC like two months ago, so hopefully the rest of his recruitment will ebb and flow back our way.

Gurley doing some damage control with Davis at The Opening

Elijah Holyfield doing his best Chubb impression

I wonder what position the guy in the bottom right plays...

Kind of walked into that one

Though, to be fair, it boggles the mind that Geathers is still playing. Dude has made the most of his time in the NFL

The fact that former Dawgs like Gurley would stump for their school once they've moved on to the league should tell Mr. Davis everything he needs to know about Georgia putting guys in a position to succeed at the next level.

247 has an article up about Davis where he responds to his father's comments. He makes pretty much the same points that we've been making. Says his dad is a track guy and isn't really football savvy. Says his mom is going to be more of a factor than his dad because he's a momma's boy. Apparently his mom is super close with both Thomas Brown and BMac. I think he's a dawg.

Good Gurley is there to tell Davis about all the beautiful white women Athens has to offer.

It's one reason I don't really follow former Dawgs in the pros. They typically play for teams I couldn't care less about.

Now, if they get drafted by the Falcons (never) or Steelers, or a team worth watching I tend to look out for those players.

Bengals, Chiefs,...

eh, just sit tight on Davis and others. We went through a surge of great recruiting news and it has slowed down a bit.

Good thing is - Dawg night is right around the corner.
