Stupid non-football understanding parent gonna stupid non-football understanding parent.

Also, it seemed that the clearly deluded Ron Davis seemed to be taking a dig at CMR on a parenting level. He seems to think that Kyle would be going into a better moral values situation at Aubie, which is laughable.

Sounds like dad got sold hook, line, and sinker on Auburn's recruiting pitch. That has to be almost verbatim what Craig pitched to them on their last visit. He's splitting a lot of hairs in those quotes and woefully inaccurate about the offensive situations leading to future success in the pros.

He's either getting something on the side or Craig is just smooth talking the shite out of him in a way that McLendon hasn't done. Odd to see a hardline approach from a parent like that this early in the recruiting process without the logic to back up the opinion. I get that some parents just don't get a good vibe from a school, but his reasons were almost certainly fed to him from opposing recruiters. Certainly no evidence or research behind them.

Sending your kid to a school that runs a gimmick offense with three different plays is gonna better prepare him for he next level over a school that has a guy that coached in the nfl and runs a pro style offense? That makes no sense at all.

It only has to make sense to the kid and one of his parents. They could tell him that Auburn sits on a magic portal to Wonderland where all of his dreams are guaranteed to come true and, so long as he an either mom or dad buy it and are willing to sign the papers, it means frickall what the rest of the world thinks.

Did anyone see the Q&A Kipp Adams did with Davis on 24/7? I can't find it now but I'll look for it when I get off my phone. It surprised me how high he was on Auburn. Even went as far as to say they had better looking women than UGA. They must be talking real bad about us to him. Hope his dad sees the truth. Does his dad not know football? We run a pro style offense with a former professional OC. That's what gets u ready for the NFL

Davis only runs a 4.6??? That's slow as hell for a WR. What's the deal?

He's a pretty big dude first off. Secondly, 4.6 is not slow. Not many prospects or even current players can run in the 4.4's even though many say they can.

FWIW Imatorbhebhe is 6'5" and ran a 4.49. Demetris Robertson ran a 4.34 and Hardman ran a 4.35. So a 4.6 is behind those guys. Doesn't really mean much IMO but it's worth noting.

High school 40 times are nearly all BS.

You hear about nearly every good WR/DB recruit running a 4.3 or 4.4 and yet at the nfl combine there are only a few guys that go much faster than 4.40. Weird how they get slower in college isn't it?

Hand timed 40s aren't accurate at all.

The last page or so is filled with the kinds of posts we thought were so hilarious when Aubies were posting them after we got a couple big names the last few months.

It sucks that his dad really likes AU for some reason, and I'd like to see him end up with the good guys, but come on y'all. Auburn has some positive factors as well. Let's not fall into the "they must be paying his dad!" bullshite.

Idc what they think. Screw Auburn, they're cheaters and they pay everything with a pulse.

If my son played QB or WR and his goal was to play in the NFL why would I not want him to play in a pro-style offense? Now if he is a RB that's a different story. I don't know who is getting paid nor do I care but it seems like with Eason and the line we having coming in that receivers should be lined up at the door to come to Athens.

Receivers are divas hard to find good ones who aren't. There is a classic case of negative recruiting. The single best offense any kid can go into and have a NFL future is the Pro Style. There is also a reason everyone assumes that someone is getting paid. They freaking do it!!!! Cam Newton easy example and as much as I love Pat Dye and know at one point he was a Dawg the dude cheated like a rat!! I'd love for this kid to come here but if I'm a parent and know anything about NFL potential go ask Tony Eason there is a reason his kid is gonna be a Dawg.
