Didn't want to start a new thread...does anyone know the TV info for GDay?

Yep. Station is Sanford Stadium. Time is 4:30. Get your arse in a seat. I keed I keed. I *believe* that SEC Network was the most recently "likely" channel, but haven't seen anything official yet.

I'll definitely be there but my mom was asking. I would assume SECN but didn't know if there was another spring game at the same time to compete with, or if it'd be local like channel 3 or something.

If it's like the last few years, it'll be on CSS. I feel like it usually gets picked up by the SEC network as well, though.

Almost got tricked by that one as well. That's old.

Not "this Saturday".

This is where it said SECn. LINK /

Day 4:

*Riley Ridley continues to look like a steal

*Defensive line group is really starting to come together and should have some quality depth this season

*Kimbrough and Natrez Patrick are the early favorites at the ILB spots

*Brice Ramsey drew some praise from Coach Smart, saying that he has been "pleasantly surprised" with his Spring performance. Getting some first team reps, supposedly

PHOTOS

D'Andre Walker looks like he's ready for the SEC. I think he'll make some plays this year.

Chauncey Rivers has definitely added some weight

Daquan Hawkins and Michael Barnett. I think Barnett gets a good amount of PT this year as well.

Coach Pittman doing coach stuff. Really like that sweatshirt though, need to grab one of those

Does Pittman remind anyone else of Blake Clark a little bit?

It would appear that Ramsey's lackadaisical approach to QB has shown up in the new era, as well. Kirby said in an interview that he had to pull him aside and tell him to act like he wants it (under center).

This might be a little overly negative. The way I read it is he's a really laid back guy and Kirby wanted to see him play with more of an edge or intensity... he wants him to compete and it sounds like he responded reasonably well. Do I envision him grabbing the starting job? Not at QB, but if he can compete and drive Lambert or Eason to play harder/better then that's a win as well, not to mention him being better prepared to come off the bench in a pinch.

IMO, unless there is an injury, I don't think you will ever see Ramsey take another meaningful snap as QB. Maybe some 4th quarter work in blowouts, but nothing meaningful. I believe the season will start Lambert/Eason and quickly switch to Eason/Lambert.

A substantial amount of buzz from today's scrimmage about #UGA QB Jacob Eason. Folks in attendance were impressed.

Yea heard he made some explosive plays with the third team and looked good running with the twos who were playing against the first team defense. Smart said he was going to take the pressure off of Eason don't be surprised to see him playing with the threes at GDay and then make a leap over the other two during summer workouts and heading into Fall camp

Just wanted to make sure they saw this. If you were planning on watching it from home, you won't unless you pay for ESPNU.

I only get the regular ESPNs, ESPN3, and the SECN, so I'm shite out of luck when it comes to ESPNU.
