Nobody really knows when on Thompson, but Richt would have have to leave for Thompson to not be at UGA. Last I'd heard, Thompson had basically commit to the coaches but was trying to sort out with his family how he wanted to do an announcement (ceremony at school, at Dawgnight, etc.)

Thompson could commit at anytime. I think they'll probably try to have him go public at a time that will help the most.

Example, if we were to see Edoga commit elsewhere in the near future, you could see the staff push Thompson to go public soon after to recapture momentum.

Personally, I think he commits to USCw in the next week or so. However, that's a long distance and new lifestyle to ponder for close to 9 months so I'm by no means considering him a done deal.

Yeah that was basically my point. Sorry if I came off as snide earlier but I had just finished reading an Edoga thread on 247 and the comments were downright infuriatingly pitiful

nah, you're good man . Negadawg is only tolerable when it comes with the insane, bombastic character of places like this one. Elsewhere, they just seem to gnash each others teeth and tear at each others hair and wail in unison. It's no fun.

negadawg is much more fun when it is expressed through self-loathing and biting sarcasm. The "sky is falling because an 18 year old might go to college somewhere else" narrative seen elsewhere is a bit silly.

Anyways, we might want to save the bagman bullet for one large push around December or so

I'd settle for 4-5 three and four stars every year instead since they're so hit or miss.

I want 5 5*s a year complete with processing of tubs of goo who are waste of roster spots.

No one will be safe.

I still can't figure out how Theus was a 5star. Ben Cleveland needs to hurry up and get on campus.

And we need to clone him. Like at least 10 times. And then keep churning out around 3-5 Clevelands a year

Didn't somebody towards the end of the '14 Recruiting thread say that we'd be picking up at least one more for the 2014 class before the end of the semester (Specifically March/April)? There were a couple of other bold predictions in there, too, but the late comer to this year's haul stood out to me.

I read some incorrect info on Vasser. It looks like he won't be leaving Navarro until December.

Doesn't seem like it. Why do you ask?

I mean, he is an OLB coach that was a DC for an FBS school last year. I highly doubt he is...at least he can't be any more out of his depth than some of the last crew was.
