Some of the Spaq results from the opening. Numbers listed are (height, weight, 40 time, vertical, and sparq rating.)

quote:

Terry Godwin- 5'11, 165, 4.6, 34.4, 103.17

Natrez Patrick- 6'3, 254, 4.96, 30.3, 98.76

Jackson Harris- 6,5.5, 245, 4.90, 31.8, 97.98

Josh Sweat- 6'4.5, 240, 4.46, 39.1, 104.01

Dontee Jackson- 5'10, 165, 4.47, 35.7, 102.45

Roquan Smith- 6'1, 203, 4.55, 35.3, 97.20

One of the national analysts said that Sweat reminds him of Clowney. Not quite the physical freak that Clowney was, but close.

Should we be worried that a defensive end ran a better 40 than our best athlete commmit?

I would think Godwin would be in the 4.4 range for 40 times.

I thought so too. I know he's quick as frick and maybe that's what separates him from the rest. Must not be a burner.

Nope. Anytime you get worried about Godwin, just go back and watch his game tape. You will feel much better. I could care less about underwear olympic 40 times. Can a kid play football or not? If the answer is a resounding yes; then stop worrying. At least, that's my motto anyway.

4.6 is actually better than what Godwin had run at these combine events in the past. He's quicker than he is fast.

No real reason for concern. That's really about an average NFL combine time for a WR.

Preston Williams also ran a 4.6, for reference. Donte Jackson ran a 4.47 and he's run the 100m in like 10.2

Yeah, Sweat's time isn't a knock on Godwin. It's just a ridiculous reflection on Sweat.

Maybe he knows that his commitment will be a big momentum swing for uga, so he's waiting to do it at dawgnight so he can be the domino that causes the others to fall.
