Over/under on the week that people start calling for Richt's job - Vegas would probably put it around 8-9. I would take the under all day long.

With half the idiots on here, it may be by game 5. I find it fascinating that these same people are predicting a crappy season next year due to attrition and all, but yet they will be the same ones who will be calling for heads when their predictions pan out...

8 or 9 wins. I think 2016 will be better with experienced defense and 2nd year starter at qb. Sony and chubb will be juniors so I believe that will be our best chance. No high expectations for next year though.

Pretty much agree with this.

I think I am about where everybody else is.

7 wins worst case, 9 wins best case.

09/05 – ULM- Win easily
09/12 – @ Vanderbilt- Win easily
09/19 – South Carolina- Lose close
09/26 – Southern U.- Win easily
10/03 – Alabama- Lose by 3-4 TD's
10/10 – @ Tennessee- Win close
10/17 – Missouri- Lose close
10/31 – Florida- Win close
11/07 – Kentucky- Win easily
11/14 – @ Auburn- Lose close
11/21 – Georgia Southern- Win easily
11/28 – @ Georgia Tech- Lose close

Win a cruddy bowl and finish 8-5
Chubb goes for 1400-1500 yds and 15+ TD's
Ramsey goes for 2700 yds and 20/10
Then we start the "next year is our year" talk....all over again

Loss to Alabama in regular season. Revenge win in SECCG, then who knows in playoffs.

That would be awesome. But, with the attrition starting, that prediction may change...

It's just brutal when you have guys like JHC, Matthews, Wiggins, and even Langley that were all top 100 recruits in the defensive backfield who should be making huge contributions to the team next year. We were fine in pass defense, but having JHC and Tray in run defense against Florida and Georgia Tech would be a MASSIVE improvement.

11/07 – Kentucky- W
11/14 – @ Auburn- L
11/21 – Georgia Southern- could be will Muschamp ugly....W
11/28 – @ Georgia Tech- W

6-6....but It took Bobby Bowden 39 years to win an ACC title.

We are on the brink of irrelevancy in the Sec east again? UT is improved. Mizzoo ain't going anywhere and Florida will only be down one year. It is us against the cocks to get to see who is better every year than Vandy and Kentucky. An endless stream of fricking Belk Bowls....and many glad to have them.

Whoa. That is worst case scenario there. I don't see that string of losses in October happening.

Alabama - losing a decent amount on both sides of the ball. Obviously they have talent ready to go, but I don't think they will be classic Bama next year.

Tennessee - going to be better than this year, and its away. Toss-up.

Missouri - they have a lot returning but lose their top wideout (Sasser) and potentially both defensive ends. I like our chances at home. Won't be 34-0 though.

Florida - doesn't matter who they return, this will be a close game. Nice gut check mid-season.

South Carolina - returning a decent amount. Will be breaking in a new QB. Two young guys behind Thompson, so it's not like they will be turning to a guy has played before like they did this year with Thompson. I like our chances at home here as well.

Auburn - loses some skill guys. New RBs. What scares me is Johnson taking over for Nick Marshall. Don't like our chances in this one.

Georgia Tech - they lose a lot. Pretty much all of their RBs except Snoddy. However, they never have a whole lot of talent, so it is never hard to replace guys. I think our defense in year 2 under Pruitt makes this a relatively easy W.

All the others are pretty easy W's. I might have just talked myself into another victory somewhere. I see 9 wins unless we don't have the offense I expect.

I fear UGA takes a step back in 2015. As several have mentioned, next season sets up as a transition year. There are some pretty significant losses of personnel in Mason, Gurley, Bennett, Conley, Andrews, Wilson, Herrera, and Swann. The SEC East won't be easier next year as Tennessee will be another year battle tested and UGA has to go to Knoxville which is always a tough out. Missouri likely takes a small step backward, but South Carolina and Florida won't be 6-6 bad, though that didn't stop either from beating UGA this year.

Add in a tougher draw from the West in Alabama, a Tech team looking for two in a row for the first time in forever, and next season doesn't set up nearly as well as this one did.

UGA will need to show some improvement to avoid a 2009-esque season IMO, and 10 wins would have to be considered a successful year.

Here's the formula ... predict a low level record, say 6-6 or 7-5 ... and then the Dawgs go 11-1 or 10-2. You go 11-1 or 10-2 in your early prediction ... Dawgs wind up 8-3, 7-5, or 6-6. Go low my friends ... go low.

12/05 – SEC Championship Game- Missed

9-3 overall, but we miss the SEC East title, largely because our two west opponents are Bama an Auburn, and we drop a bed shitting against an ever-improving UK squad, allowing a two loss East team to backdoor us.

Chubb shows out, staying healthy all season, and flirts with (if not surpassing) 2,000 yards. Sony has a great season in relief duty. QB play is spotty, with flashes of greatness from Ramsey. Look for more interceptions from him, as he trusts his arm more than Mason, but this will lead to more yards, yards per catch, and more touchdowns. I still believe we will be a "run first team", so don't look for record breaking yardage.

Defense improves, albeit not yet becoming a "lights-out" squad.

Fans will be excited through 4 games, and many will predict a win against Bama, only to spit the Flavor-ade from their mouths as they crush us back to reality. Overall, it will be a season that most fans are satisfied with, and the cries of "wait till next year" will again grind the gears of reality-dawgs everywhere.

Nah. We'll go 4-0 and sail into Bama sky high. We will beat them in front of God and everybody, rocketing to the top of the rankings with predictions of greatness.

We will then lose to Tennessee and Missouri, and come in second or third in the East again. This - is Georgia football.
