With the rest of the season after Bama being completely undecided? I would choose Bama. Special things could happen if we pull this miracle off.

yeah, i don't understand the scenario...
Are they mutually exclusive? If we beat bama we'd likely go to the playoff.

Yeah if it were "Beat Bama but lose to LSU" then that would be a tough one. If we lose a fairly close one this weekend and finish 11-1 there's an outside chance we get that #4 spot, if we lose late I don't see it happening

That is kind of what I was going for. Would you rather win this game and then let the chips falls how they may. We could still go 10-2 or 12-0. Or we could win a NY6 Bowl which means we didn't win the west or make the playoff, but we did enough to make the Sugar or Orange Bowl then won that game.

If we beat Alabama but lose to LSU we would still win the West with a chance to win the SEC and be in the playoffs. Under this scenario, both A&M and Alabama my be playoff teams.
If we can beat Alabama, we shouldn't sweat the small stuff!

You figured once you beat Bama, you can beat just avoid anyone else

Absolutely. I feel pretty good about the OM game, I think we just match up well with them this year. It won't be easy but I feel better about it than I did before the year for sure. If we finish 11-1 with a win over Bama we are almost definitely going to the SECCG (LSU winning out I think is the only way this couldn't happen).
Not to mention the outside impact the win would have on recruiting, our program and the general confidence of this team.

If the Bama win leads to us losing in the playoff, I'd still take the bama win because we would win the SEC.
If the Bama win doesn't lead us to the SECCG, I'll take the NY6 bowl win.

I have a feeling this is the best Aggie team we will see for a long time. I just want to win as much as possible.

Well, given that it's more likely that I will have a filthy, 72-hour threesome with Brianna Banks and Catalina Cruz than either of those two happening, I'm gonna go with BOTH.

I think this is a weird question. If we are good enough to beat Bama, we will more than likely make the 4 team playoff, so... I'd rather beat Bama and go to the playoff than JUST win a NY6 bowl game.
