I don't hate LSU. Or any of the other schools/fans in the SEC. I am getting tired of losing games to LSU, so will relish the next victory over them, whenever that might be.
I don't root against LSU, either. Not like Baylor, for example. If Baylor was playing Russia, I would cheer on Russia, and drink a Vodka toast to the health of Vladimir Putin.

See, that's what I've been trying to tell folks, too. Yeah, we don't like our rivals here, but nothing like the pure hatred in the big12. And that's a good thing, IMO.
GOD I can't stand baylor, tech, or t.u.

As someone older than many here, I have zero animosity towards Tech. They weren't even remotely considered a rival when I was in school. Honestly they just weren't considered. The week we played Tech in football was pretty similar to the SMU week. And I can't even remember a single game playing them in any other sport.
Also, we played LSU every year then. The hate was a pretty close second to tu honestly imo. They brought huge swathes of fans, more than anyone else we played, probably incl the sips, and the Aggie contingent to BR was massive. Everyone I know went - we all stayed in NOLA and Bourbon was covered in maroon.

Guess it really does depend on the era you were in school. Which is kinda cool, actually.

Completely agree with TMC94.
Zero fricks were given to Tech and Baylor. I only got pissed at Baylor during realignment.
LSU would get us frothing at the mouth, and I am completely happy to be playing them again.

Here's the thing, I don't hate LSU. I enjoy the rivalry. I remember many well played hard fought games between us. I've been to TS and had a great time in both wins and loses. LSU has always brought more fans here to watch a game than anyone else and while yhey talk a lot of smack the fans my age will readily admit that we can and will beat them again

Did you go to a game in Lubbock? I'm guessing not. Or maybe our uniforms were a magnet for the fools and you blended in by not wearing one. I do know I hoped that if WW3 started that Lubbock was near the top of the Russkies' target list. Sincerely.
I'm all about "1, 2, frick t.u." but Tech has a special place in my heart that 'horns never got close to.
On the other other hand I don't get the hate for Baylor. But that's probably because there still weren't that many women at A&M and we chased after so many Baylor women.

I never had much issue at Tech. They were more interested in throwing tortillas than anything else. I also was in their student section while I wore our colors. I took a ribbing, but I have thick skin and gave as good as I got.

I had some bad experiences with Tech as a group but good experiences with their fans individually. They can definitely be aggressive and trashy but at least they truly care and support their team. I dislike Baylor because they support their teams, especially football, so poorly

I went one year. I think 91 but can't remember for sure. The place is meh. I never wanted to go back and haven't been (for a game) since. We throttled them though so the crowd was pretty lame.
I understand the hate some have. I just don't have it myself. I always liked Leach. Always. He cracks me up. Just like I've always liked the MOB. But both rustle a lot of Aggy jimmies.
