Hey WCA,

Have you done much in San Diego? I may be headed there this weekend. Got any tips?

head up to Encinitas, wait for that marine layer to burn off, hit up the beach and finish with a stop in to Juanitas Taco shop for a burrito, and make sure to get the carne asada fries. Don't let the rundown appearance of the store fool you, it's amazing.

Hit up the beaches in la jolla or Encinitas. La jolla has a nice cove where you can swim, kayak, snorkel, or just hang out. I was always a fan of JVs mexican or lolitas for burritos or carne asada fries

You can always hit up the gaslamp district for the bars, or you can bar hop along the beaches as there are a number of bars in the beach communities out there

JV's is the jam too. Also love Rigoberto's. I'm so hungry now.

Thanks for the tips. Sometimes I hate flying standby. Everything fills up on Thursday nights during the summer. Gonna try Palm Springs instead.

I was at last year's UCLA game. Beat The Hell Outta 'Em, as is always the case when Aggiebelle and I attend a game as each other's date at Kyle Field

As a general rule I try to avoid Southern California. They are assholes there, traffic is insufferable and like 18 people speak English. Northern Cali is liberal as hell but at least they're nice hippies.

Cali is dope. I like the PNW more, but I could totally live in LA. As long as I get to live in a place where the term "Trump voter" is an insult I'm good

Is that show Rocket Power accurate in its depiction of a typical Southern California childhood?

I always have a good time in LA. Just gotta have a plan of action. My old roommate lives there and my brother moved to Napa last year so I've been going to Cali a lot lately.

Seems like we have some good baws heading out to the game. Sadly I won't be there to see what will probably be the only time A&M ever plays inside the rose bowl
