Having a Baylor favorite team icon does not equal baylor fan.

Posters on the Rant change their favorite team icon all the time to troll people. They got me when I first started posting here as well 
Here's a hint--look at their sig for clues about who they truly support. Usually takes more effort to change those than to change the team icon

Also, we get a few perps changing to A&M logo from time to time.
TexAgs board is high school compared to the inormation & crap on this board. You will enjoy it once you get used to it.
If Ags pull off the win this weekend, the entire SECr will melt down. I do mean melt down.
Their greatest unspoken fear is that a team from the Big 12 come in here and do well.

I understand people change their team icon and whatnot...why baylor though? This whole site is nothing but trolls, so how does a baylor icon lend more credibility than keeping the lsu or arkansas icon? just seems kinda dumb...but I guess would be par for the course around here

It's taken me a while to adjust to the Rant but now I think I am there. There are trolls galore but different than on Texags or other sites. Folks here love to get people worked up and if they see something that bothers you they won't stop. The Jizz Jar thing is a perfect example, though on that one I kind of wish Ags would just let it go watch it drop off the page quickly instead of trolling back.
One thing I have noticed here though is folks will talk big smack before a game and then come back after and show respect. The UF folks were a good example for the most part. Realize though that to some we will always be the newbies and will always be someone they won't give credit to, much less like. We actually get more respect on the Rant than I would expect, you just have to ignore the trolls.
One thing you can never do on this site though is make a bold statement about the greatness of A&M or any player and not expect major trolling. The thing is though it goes the same for every other school and player but it's easy to ignore that and stay A&M focused.
A good rule of thumb for a new poster on the Rant is to not post much until you have been following the site for a while and definitely don't start threads. Get used to the pace and the attitude and you will be much happier.
Oh, and whatever you do DO NOT EVER MENTION THE SCHOOL IN AUSTIN. Just don't do it with the sole exception of responding to a direct inquiry from a Non A&M person. Even then it is usually best to let it go. It simply will not end well, period.

SC - best RB, dline, clemson
UK - pointless. they don't come round til hoops season
UT - dooley, who's the best WR

They are lonely. They no longer have their man-girl basketball player in Griner, or RGIII. Life as they knew it is back to normal...in Waco.
I never saw Baylor as an irritant, just another school like Tech we play every year. After wigging out over our departure last year I still don't see them as an irritant, but I now see them as pathetic.
