..I'm certain he will be talking with Dantonio.

Good news for y'all. Isn't that how you got Spurrier? I remember a story when he got the job that Lou sold him on the state's golf courses.

That pretty much sums up what transpired. That and the opportunity to develop our program into a winning one with lots of "firsts" he could reach. He also has very close proximity to Augusta, which I'm sure you know hosts The Masters every year. I believe that Carolina provides him with admission as well.

The deal to bring Spurrier to Carolina was signed, sealed and delivered a good while before Lou left Carolina. Rumors swirled about it but honestly most of the fanbase doubted Spurrier would actually come here. Very, very gracious that we were wrong. Spurrier will no doubt have some strong points in selling Carolina to Dantonio...and it obviously helps that Dantonio already knows how coveted our football team is to us, warts and all.

I still think it'll end up being Smart who is rumored to already have selected his staff should he become our HC.
I'm still partial to Fuente, though.

That is really sad. Mack is like the Al Gore of cfb. He seems like a nice guy, but I don't think he's got any friends.
