O's facing Sonny Gray in game 4 vs the A's tonight. 2.06 era, best in baseball. Gonna be tough.

Didn't realize the 2nd & 3rd best era's were Astros. That's salty. Echoes of 1980.

O's beat Sonny Gray and sweep the A's out of Camden Yards. 4-0 on the current 10-game homestand.

Wow

Dallas needs some help running Gray's ERA up and keeping him from getting to ~15 wins. I want the Cy Young in Houston.

Crush Davis was robbed of another homerun tonight. That's 4 in the last month (and possibly 5). Never seen anything like it.

Sounds like he needs to hit the weight room.

It just makes him mad. Most of his recent dingers have been bombs.

Things are tightening up. This last month and a half has the chance to be one for the books.

I love this kid.

Anyone want to argue why he doesn't deserve the gold glove, rookie of the year, and silver slugger this year?

It seems like he has 2 dozen of these type of plays.

He leads AL rookies in SLUG, OBP, OPS (duh), and is 2nd in RBI & HRs (will surpass both soon. He has fewer ABs).

He leads AL SS in SLUG, OBP, OPS (duh again), HR, and is 4th in RBIs. Again he has fewer ABs.

Walk off home run for Marwin. Stros have too many close games lately. I'm going to the park tomorrow. Dallas on the mound.

Good for the Stros. Tampa Bay is a pesky bunch.

So if the season ended today we would have a NY v Hou match up. I like it. I hate the damn Yanks.

But it doesn't end today and we only have a 2.5 game lead

I'm so very nervous I wish it was a seven or eight game lead

7 left vs the Rangers and 6 vs the Angels. They will determine their own fate. It would be mildly disappointing if they got a WC spot but it's still been a hell of a ride and not many people expected them to contend this year. The future looks incredible for this franchise

Yeah I think I said 75-80 wins on the first page of this thread and in the numerous Astros threads on the MSB. I thought they could hang with the Mariners and Angels through the first half ish and then would fade into third place.

I also didn't expect Correa to be up this year or reveal himself as the second coming though
