We aren't running an air raid. We don't even attempt a lot of the throws you see in that system.

Also, it sucks but even if we fire Spav and bring in the best OC in the business, we'd still going to have major offensive problems next year. I don't know whether it's talent or coaching or both, but our offensive line is the worst I've seen since our 2008 offensive line (which was probably one of the worst lines in the NCAA over the last 15 years). We aren't fixing that in a single offseason and even a great play caller can only do so much with a horrific OL.

Credit to Sumlin. He saw the OL problem last year and tried to bring in Christensen to fix it before it got too bad, but that has not worked at all. In fact, forcing a bad OL to learn a new scheme has made things decidedly worse.

Sorry, but you can't credit the guy if he was the one that allowed it to get this bad.

At this point I agree. My biggest concern is how many 8 win seasons we will have to suffer through before a change is made

for this answer, I refer you back to a previous unpopular thread of mine about not monetarily supporting the team. Like it or not, there's no way to support the boys without showing support for the whole program. Personally, I won't go to a game until there's something worth spending ~$250 buck I spend on tickets and a weekend in CS. Thankfully, one of my buddies' parents live down the street and enjoy having company, otherwise it would be more than that.

But as we all know, Aggies are going to show up no matter what, so it'll be sooner than later. Unless the boosters start pulling the dough and the #swagcopter gets grounded.

Eh, I just mean that he didn't rest on his laurels while things were felling apart. He signed two highly regarded JUCO tackles and then brought in a well-regarded offensive line coach after last season. Those were smart moves that showed he was trying to prevent our current O-line-pocalypse.
