Cons: What the frick is the "Colorado School of Mines"?

It's a miniature Texas A&M (academic wise but with no liberal arts programs) and the second most notable entity in Golden, Colorado. You are literally at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains if you go on their campus.

For cons under Holgorsen you should probably add in that him and Rumlin would plow down a bottle of Crown every Friday night before the game and may coach blasted

Given the last two weeks that may be an improvement. Besides, how would you prepare as an opposing coach against someone not constrained by either logic or sobriety?

(Oh and Roger forgot to add couch burning to the notable list of WV achievements)

Admins deleted my help board thread requesting his reinstatement, I don't understand why they would do that?

Outside of porn blasts and racist comments I wouldn't know. For those two things, they rarely if ever grant reinstatement.

Do we seriously want a coach that just got fired being OC at Iowa State to be our OC?

Seven games into the season, Paul Rhoads made a stunning change Monday by replacing Mark Mangino with Todd Sturdy as offensive coordinator.

Sturdy, a Tipton native, has been in charge of the passing game for the Cyclones, who are 2-5 entering this week's matchup with Texas. Mangino, who was 50-48 as the Kansas head coach from 2002-09, was hired in January 2014 to run the Iowa State offense.

"That's not something that I desired," Rhoads said of replacing Mangino.

Rhoads told reporters that the decision was made after disagreements with the direction of the ISU offense. Earlier Monday, the Cyclones also announced that sophomore Joel Lanning has replaced incumbent starter Sam Richardson as the starting quarterback.

That tells me it came from the AD or higher.

I wouldn't be surprised if Mangino abused a player while Rhoads was away and the player filed a complaint with ISU, thus leading to the removal. Or that "disagreements" meant that Mangino refused to do what Rhoads wanted in terms of offensive changes (and maybe even threatened him).

This is what I have gathered from what's out there on this situation. They had a disagreement about who should be QB. Mangino was either super rude about it or threatened to quit if he didn't get his way.

whatever it is, I'm sure if he were LSU he would not be banned right now, unless it was a porn bomb or he went on tiger rant acting a fool.
