Whatever the reason, it took guts to bench Harris for the UK game even though he's essentially playing for his job this year. He's a hard person to root against.

I recommend you watch his teams play. That should clear up that small problem. He is incompetent. If you don't want him out of here by this point, you're related to him.

Anyways, tough to win any game when your best player is 1 for 9 from the field. Bright spot: we shot over 75% from the FT line.

I've watched every single game outside of the Corpus Christie tournament. This game is about par for the course this year. That doesn't mean that I cannot hope against hope that this team would miraculously turn their season around.

The grass has to be greener on the other side, but...

Hyman's two basketball hires at USCe were Darrin Horn (miss) and Frank Martin (good coach but TBD).

The question is this: what kind of resources will be available to Hyman? Will he have the ability to money whip a good coach from elsewhere or will he be forced to go bargain-basement shopping?

everything I know about the situation is that we don't have any big money donors that give a flip about hoops. It's pretty much the reason we're in the spot we are.

We decided to redo the football lockerrooms and it took about 15 minutes to find a donor. But no one wants to pony up for a basketball coach. My guess is that Hyman uses excess revenue and does it himself. There is simply too much potential revenue being left on the table for us. Plus the SEC is pushing the schools hard on hoops because of the network.

Jamal Jones is going to have his off nights, so someone else is going to have to step up...

Devonte Fitzgerald

Last week: Freshmen player of the Week

Today: 0-3 from the field, 0 points, 0 assists, 0 rebounds, 0 blocks, and 0 steals in 13 minutes.

Fitzgerald basically stole Space's stat line from the UK game on Tuesday.

BK's buyout is only $500k. I might need to start up a collection, and I'll begin with this board. Anyone care to make a pledge?

For every dollar donated, I will make a post praising BK.
